Excellent ROM for MI 8. Battery life in a word is AWESOME! 1% consumption after 8 hours overnight!

Btw, I have an issue with whatsapp. It was there in the previous version too.

On my MI 8, Whatsapp is not waking up the screen when a new call comes... I had set it up to autostart and gave all permissions possible (including show in lockscreen) and unrestricted battery. Even I went as far as uninstalled and reinstalled it, still it doesn't wake up the lock screen.

Phone calls are waking the screen as well as Messages (Google SMS) but whatsapp doesn't budge... Any workaround?

Delete all app data then uninstall whatsapp and make a fresh install from playstore.
Also make sure app data restore from google account is disabled.

Who said it works on the lockscreen? There are NO status bar icons on the lockscreen for a long time now, please, deal with it. It's not a bug, the icons were removed since MIUI 10 was released and there is no way to bring them back.

I tried to uninstall magisk. Same.

Reinstalled those apps. Same.

What could be the reason? Seems I'm the only one who got such problem?

Just make a clean flash and everything should work.

Listen up people... I've been tolerant so far with some of the stupidity on the forum today but my patience is wearing thin. If you can't comment in an appropriate manner you do not belong on our forum.

@ingbrzy @Igor Eisberg and others work tirelessly to provide ROM support and as such they and myself do not have time for the abusive and rude commentary being posted. STOP asking when ROMs are available, STOP asking questions which violate the rules of the forum or you will find yourself banned permanently!

Just grow up and stop being idiots!

Can not confirm your problem. Updated from last weekly, magisk 18.1, Sphinx Kernel 2.6 and Center clock mod (mod for notch notification) in one step with batch installation.
Seems that all apps are working.
Can you give an example what app does not work? Maybe I have installed it too and can try it out.

I'm quite experienced in EU Rom updates actually. Been doing that every week for months already...

Confirm! I did not use Gmail but for testing I installed Gmail from play store and it crashes. No idea why.
