because on latest phone you can not modify system in EU ROM.

For the matter of fact (but out of scope here), with Magisk, LSPosed and CustoMIUizer, you can enable System Apps Updater in Xiaomi.eu and update the System apps through - see the screenshots

I tried to flash the latest ROM for mix 4 (V12.5.12) via TWRP over the stock 12.5.12
I booted to TWRP, wiped data and dalvik, flashed the ROM , wiped dalvik again and rebooted system.
It took me straight to bootloader screen (fastboot mode). When I try to boot back to twrp, it fails with error message: failed to load/authenticate boot image: device error
how can i fix this ?

used 12.5.3 for Poco X3 NFC for a few days, many contacts informed me that they were unable to reach me as my number was not responding. did not face this issue before, have reverted to 12.5.1 for now.

anyone else facing the same issue? or anyone knows a fix for this issue? the problem came only with 12.5.3.

How did you come back? I asked if you can just do how to go ahead, install then wipe davil cache and reboot but got no answer

i did not try a dirty flash, just did not wanted to risk it so clean flashed, as basically it was a downgrade so there could be many potential errors coming my way the next few days.

so,
reboot recovery
wipe cache, dalvik, data
flash rom 12.5.1
wipe data>yes
reboot

Ok, so if I have to lose all the data, it is better to go to the weekly with Android 12, then use the cmd commands and format First rom installation

If you are stuck without TWRP you must flash a fastboot rom in order to recover.
If you are stuck at TWRP flash operation, try to boot it in fastboot mode and install the zip rom.
instruction is fastboot boot "twrpname".img

Hi guys, using V12.5.5.0 on Tucana. Beautiful ROM, but several issues detected so far:
- Baseband: really unstable. Phone appears online, but is unreachable by othjer callers. Network connection drops entirely, hard to get LTE/4G connectivity or drops when doing handovers. GPS entirely inaccurate (shows a different crazy location).
- Bluetooth: unstable and sometimes sends noise to headset. Maybe related to the same Baseband issue
- Recents Menu (Task list): buggy, doesn't always show all thumbnails for open apps. Can't switch to some open tasks (the ones that doesn't show thumbnail).
- Android Auto: Doesn't work well. Integration with voice search is not working. Sends search results to the phone, not to the car display.
- AppVault: installed in chinese...

Any idea when the next version is coming?

Hi,
FYI: sadly i experienced some problems with the12.5.17 on Mi 11 Ultra. :.(

1. There is a lagg in video performance on youtube.

2. The wallpaper picker is crashing every time i try to change my background. Doesn't matter if i go through settings/background.. or through the miui launcher.

3. From time to time the fingerprint animation on lockscreen is on loop. Even when no finger touch the sensor.

4. I can't even customise ringtones


Hopefully next stable will fix it.

The latest updated Mix 4 is TWRP version at 4.2GB but I understood that TWRP for Mix 4 can't read or write files over 3.5GB? How can it be flashed in that case?
