I'm at a loss, I don't know what to try next. I tried different TWRP versions to install older XiaomiEU ROMs - doesn't work. Where do I go from here? Am I just missing something obvious?

You're installing MIUI 14 (Android 13) and you're using TWRP for Android 12

If you got working fastboot. Why not install hybrid ROM with fastboot to get your device working xiaomi.eu ROM ?

It is extremely annoying problem. Solutions are to remove it from battery saver, add it to unlimited background data and autostart. Even that doesn't seem to help.

Hello, I flashed the stable ROM on my LISA (11 lite 5g NE) yesterday following the steps and rooted with Magisk 25.2 and everything seemed fine at first. My modules are those u see in the pic. Problem is i'm experiencing many little freezes when swiping in general in the home screen but also in apps in addition to very bad lagging in the camera app. This last thing is quite strange since when Instagram uses the camera everything seems smooth. I really want to get rid of these freezes that i never experienced on rooted stock rom with the same modules, can u help me? Thanks

i did a clean install and i have the same issue as elite rom , the rom kill the process of apps in background , i don't get notifications from whatsapp .. facebook messenger . etc.. and when i open whatsapp for example , the app refreshes and new texts appear , i turned of battery optimization for this apps with no restrictions and the same issue

Because miui trying to save a small amount of battery,but actually won't due to quick apps opening and closing too much.

Yes, it closes on interaction, nothing unusual. There is no issue.

I am a little confused. My m11 with eu rom, Mi home doesn't get notifications, but K60 Pro with chinese rom, can receiving notifications without problem. Does Mi home limited functions on eu rom, or something else?

My POCO F4 (munch) is on 13.2.8.0 / Fastboot.

I would like to update to the MIUI 14 however, it requires recovery.

I believe I have to first apply the custom TWRP (A13) and then update the ROM.

Is there anybody here who did it, safely?

Can you explain a bit more? For example, music plays normally though speakers, but Facebook and IG reels play softly, through the telephone speaker.

The fact that out package installer won't let you update it is already an answer to your question. Don't touch system apps. Yes, we patch many of them.

Poco F3 Alioth with xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK40_POCOF3_V14.0.4.0.TKHCNXM_v14-13
installed with TWRP from MIUI 13 in a dirty way.

Everything still works as expected and I do not have all these problems which other users report here. Of course there are some strange contrast things in dark mode, e.g. can't see the cursor writing on some black background but nothing relevant to the functions of the phone.
All notification come up on time and if not check the app permissions, notification and battery settings. Never use "battery saver" and everything is good and battery life is really better than before - see attachment.

Maybe my fault is that I don't root and use the ROM as it comes? The only stranger-app is NetGuard as internal VPN to block some Ads and prevent too much of "calling home" apps.

I'm wondering what's wrong with me?
I can't complain and all over I'm glad with the new stable version!
I see a lot of improvements, thanks Devs!
