HyperOS 2.0 HyperOS 2.0 STABLE RELEASE

Installed the latest Update on Houji CN. Just like charm. Thanks to the devs.

But I had to re-install TWRP again. That was more comfortable in the past.

Edit: just tested to boot into recovery after update. TWRP seems to be gone again as if it's overwritten during the update.

Hello, I am having an issue with Poco F5 (marble) HyperOS 2.0..6.0 where I am unable to change between apps using the overview/task view button and double tapping does nothing. Reboot does fix the problem temporarily but goes back to the "broken" state after a few hours, also is there a way to switch back to old notifications/control center from HyperOS 1/MIUI?
Alright after updating to 2.0.7.0 it seems the bug/glitch is gone and I am able to switch between apps freely, as for classic control center with some root magic it is possible to get it back

Hello! Do you have to install TWRP first before you update?

i had some problems on 13 Ultra. I enabled `auto start` in app permissions and it started to work.
No, it works perfectly for me on stock and with this ROM. You just have to give it permissions. Set it to autostart, pin it. Like everything in HyperOS and MIUI.

I've looked through the thread (can't seem to find anyone having questions about the same thing), it seems like after update 205 on vermeer, button shortcuts are remapped to None.

Is "Recents Menu" returning to the buttons & gestures page?

I used to have long-press Menu to open Recents menu as I didn't like the one tap...

(please don't tell me this is going to be the default going forward... :emoji_cry:)

+ can't see the ability to use Menu, or is that deprecated now also?

Maybe it's time to learn how to use gestures (if you're using the stock launcher). ;)
But I can't even open the menu on apps because, it's like.. non-existent now lol

I can use Recents but can't use Menu using buttons (not gestures)

(I'm on NOVA Launcher)

True! The 2.2 is good

If I am already on Xiaomi EU Rom and TWRP was deleted in the previous update, do I have to install TWRP again before I update to 207?

Update ROM then re flash recovery image.

That's how I do it typically on my device (Poco F6 Pro)

I just keep the image for TWRP on my device, everytime I update my ROM I just reflash recovery manually

U cant Update it via ota unless u have a recovery that supports it. I dont know why but xiaomi.eu doesnt modify the recoveries to support the ota.

Not that it makes a difference, but TWRP also has an "flash current recovery" option. So you dont need the image on your phone per say.

I've always ticked the option to reflash TWRP on ROM flash but it's never done it

So I just reflash the image myself straight after ROM update just to be safe, never had an issue
