Since I have updated my ROM (the last MIUI 7 ROM) I have lost my root access. Has anybody experienced the same?

I installed 6.3.17 on my Note3 Pro right after BL unlock, then flashed SuperSU and Xposed. When the 6.3.24 update got out I installed it via the Updater app, but root and xposed was gone and had to reflash and give out permissions again. Is there any way to prevent this?
