If you need a more old ROM, then flash it, then flash BOOT from the last ROM that was installed. In any case, BOOT should be the newest.

Oh I get it already:

then i flash the rom 20.11.5
and I extract the boot from the last rom and flash it and that's it
thanks

Can you tell me the detailed steps?
Finally I got it working, the steps as follows:
1. Installed the rom, wiped dalvik and cache and deleted the package_cache folder
2. Rebooted but the phone rebooted to recovery
3. Installed the dm_verity and rebooted but the phone stuck on MIUI logo
4. Rebooted to recovery and installed magisk r and magisk 21.1 and rebooted
5. The phone rebooted successfully and rooted without losing data

thanks work

I did not know this method, it really works this will help me a lot in the future thank you so much

Scrollable wallpapers still broken. When the phone is off or in always on display and using in-display fingerprint and successfully unlocking the phone, wallpaper stretches for a second and turns into correct format.

Did that also, exactly the same and again stuck on MI logo...
So you can enter twrp 0623 ??
Is this the first time you flash a rom ( first or second installation i mean ) ?
Probably you will need format data , if you already flash the rom with 0623 twrp and stuck at mi logo you should fomat data ..
Go to fastboot , open cmd ant type ..
fastboot boot twrp.img
Entering twrp , choose wipe , format data and type yes and hit enter ..
Go back to twrp menu and choose reboot system , now hold vol down until you enter fastboot mode again ..
Write again to cmd .. fastboot boot twrp.img
Entering twrp , choose wipe and swipe to factory reset ..
Back to main menu and install rom ..
Wipe cache and dalvik when installation finish ..
Reboot system ..

EDIT
If you like confirm also that you did the procedure as i wrote with twrp 0623 ..

Restore a TWRP backup of the system and data

How can system partition be backuped? Within TWRP 0623 it does not show up in the partition list... Mounted all partitions before (system, too, of course), but the entry is still missing.

No problems with Mi 9t pro. Everything is very fluid. Very satisfied so far. Many thanks to the developers

....
Not first time I flash rom, on 20.11.12 right now.
I can enter twrp 0623 from fastboot boot twrp.img
Data formated, factory reset made just the way you said.
But still stuck on MI logo if flashed 20.11.18 and if flashed over with older al good.

I'm stuck on MI logo with unlock icon on top part of screen, so not even try to boot to system I think.

I'm curious if there is super partition in twrp ..
I didn't look but as far as i know there is no chance to exist .. maybe i'm wrong ..
Devices with the new dynamic partition have it named as "super" which consists of the system partition and other sister partitions (example "vendor")

Yes, there is super as a partition! I hoped that this is /system as its size seems big enough for that to me (approx. 8GB). Now it seems to be confirmed. Thank you, @geoorg

So your first installation was with previous rom and new twrp ..
You have to follow all the steps as i said with 0623 twrp , you have to format data with 0623 twrp and flash the rom , maybe you miss something , are you sure after format data that you reboot your phone to fastboot and start again ??
I don't know what did you do exactly , i'm sorry but if you follow the steps as i said there is no way to fail ..

I know that that's why i'm curious if twrp has a super to choose than system , system_ext , vendor , odm and product images .. i didn't check the twrp ..
Last time i check it was with mi note 10 lite and there is no super inside ..
I saw super only in a fastboot rom and not to choose by a twrp backup ..

The other guy has "super" in twrp
I have "super" in twrp
So i can't say why no super partition in the TWRP for mi note 10 lite, especially since it uses the new dynamic partition also

Super is a dynamic partition and includes , system , vendor , product , odm and system_ext ..
I was curious about that because i didn't see if implemented in a twrp to choose for backup ..
Special thing is this !!
