POCO X3 has the EU rom too but separately updated from this main Mi/Redmi page. It is now with 10.0.4.0 global. Thank you EU team to cook POCO X3 rom even it has no beta China weekly rom.you seems to be lost... POCOX3 has stable ROMs only..
We need to know what phone he has; version of TWRP; which ROM version.sorry i'd ask to help a friend who has upgraded from a build of some months ago and he says is returning always to recovery...

You need to disable "Extended Reboot Menu" option in Developer Options.Don't have new power UI, Mi 9.

If you are with the last week rom you can do it via OTA with no problem. Just did it on my RN8 and works great.How to update Note 8. I've just installed rom using OrangeFox recovery... Is it okay to update using the OTA itself? Because while going from stable to beta on N8, I had to wipe data... Because it wouldn't boot in miui and caused bootloop.... So.. Will I encounter same issue with OTA update?
