Thank you for that information! So next time, I will directly flash the whole zip without deleting the recovery inside. All is fine. You can flash it. Twrp the correct one inside.

Hey, does anyone know if there will be a future miui.eu rom update for the Mi 8 (dipper)? Or have the devs stopped supporting the device?

Only stable build will update, no weekly support
=> https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/20-12-28-29.59085/post-580084hi there,
i made a dirty flash with twrp-3.3.1.0 and it worked on my MI9T Pro.
but is there a solution for the full screen gestures and a 3rd party launcher (like smart launcher) ??
the gestures are only working with the systemlauncher
ThanksJust wipe cache/dalvik (no data or system) as TWRP offers after ROM installation. Based on my knowledge the latest TWRP should be installed first. You can download from https://github.com/redispade/device_xiaomi_grus-twrp/releases/tag/twrp-3.4.0-2-Mi9SE
If you do not have Magisk, probably will not face my problem.
Hello, one mistake for the step 2, it's:Hi guys. So, I wanna install MIUI 12.5 by xiaomi.eu ROM to my Mi 9 device, but I'm moving from Global ROM with an unlocked bootloader (TWRP is not installed yet). I just don't know which partitions should I wipe, in YouTube videos, they wipe data, system, and cache, but instruction in this thread says that I should not wipe the system, only data. What should I do? . And please check my steps to move to xiaomi.eu and correct if I messed up somewhere:
1. Install TWRP
2. Wipe Data
3. Install Orange Fox
4. Install xiaomi.eu ROM
5. Install Magisk 21.2
6. Reboot.
I would be so glad if someone helps me

Aren't wipe and format the same things?@frederick_sheldon
Sounds good so far, but I think you need to FORMAT data (not only wipe). System partition, you should leave alone.
Without format data you won't get rid of the encryption.Aren't wipe and format the same things?
