I had similar problem with other app (MyT from Toyota) and it has been solved by changing Magisk name. Maybe you can give a try

Bootloader is locked. All works fine on stock.

Bands are hardware related not software.

Now I don't use xiaomi.eu, but the stock ROM of Mi 9. All works fine. More updated than xiaomi.eu, Google Pay works and device is certified

The solution for Mario kart is indeed renaming TWRP folder. Thanks for that.

However my banking app doesn't let me use fingerprint for unlock or payment confirmation.
The app still works, it only says "rooted phone detected". My phone isn't rooted.

Redmi note 7 (lavender) safe update procedure for all android 10 based dev roms:

-before update: have recovery.img file extracted from orange fox zip file placed on internal sdcard
-placed latest canary build zip file of Magisk on sdcard

-boot to recovery
-flash update rom, dont reboot
-flash recovery.img to recovery partition, dont reboot
-flash latest canary magisk zip
-reboot

Never had single problem with encryption or root

Is it okay with original magisk modules present when you flash canary magisk? There's no problem?
