Same here, I also wiped cache after install and after magisk install too. Turning off charging animation seems to make it less frequent tho
Same model, same issue. Not problem with vibration motor? I don't have any vibration on my phone, even in TWRP vibrations are not working.

A quick question are supposed to have Wireless display section in Connection and sharing since it seems to be the generic Android 11 one and MIUI has its own Cast section. They seem to do the same thing. Are they equivalent? The only difference is that on screenshots from other devices in A11 it seems possible to cast in Desktop mode (dpi changed) but my RN8 finds all targets as wireless displays only. There are also two Cast icons in the quick toggles Cast and Cast to from time to time.

Maybe OT!
I have just had an update of Magisk (Canary) - to 21401. My bank apps this time registered a change - not enough to have to completely re-register, but enough to have to put in my unique codes, or similar, again. SafetyNet is still OK. So I'm not sure what caused the update.

Don't expect weeklies for redmi note 9s. (Don't start asking why... it's been mentioned 1K+ times)
And no ETA requests.

Read forum rules.
Wow
I must have f**ked up for selling my RN8
So painful I'll be saying bye to eu till further notice

I've got huge battery drains causes by google framework or google play services, since a couple versions? Anybody else got this problem?
It looks like it keeps my cpu in use and phone awake?

Please do a search and find out what the probable real reasons are for the reduction of your battery life. And also find out why so many people are (falsely) reporting poorer results.
You should also be looking at checking your own settings, especially after installing new ROMs.

We have found a solution for the broken Voice Match in Snapdragon 855 devices on Android 11, so next release will restore some smoothness to your experience.

You don't. It's read-only by design and messing with it can make the system unbootable.
You guys are awesome!
Thank you all for your hard work!

So i changed nothing on my phone. Only installed a new update, and this is caused by settings? Please enlighten me how this works.
Battery management sees a dramatic increase in usage, especially wake times and cpu usage on my phone, how can i change these settings???

Would this be the best TWRP version to use for Mi 10 Ultra? xiaomi-mi-10-ultra-twrp3.4.2b-recovery-20.8.31.zip

Thanks

Here:
"After a few days of using the last updated beta, everything works good and the database of the battery udage section has to collect infos. Now battery life is as good as before. Can't see any difference."
Here:
"I think I read on a random site some time ago, that when you update your phone, your battery stats may be deleted (battery gets recalibrated) or some glitch may happen and as a result you ~get wrong percentages the first ~1-3cycles."
"That's exactly what I supposed! Thank you for confirming

! Will try not to get upset any more if battery life has become worse as long as I haven't passed the first charging cycles "

Elsewhere there is a link to an article - I cannot put my hands on it at the moment. You need to allow a few charges to allow the figures to stabilise again.
There are also many settings that you can look at, for instance you could use some of the Battery saver, or Ultra Battery saver settings. refresh rate, display, Sound & vibration, all sorts of things, depending upon what you are using. There are always ways to tweek - or not.

I wanted to put back the 21.1.6 release, because I don't like this 21.1.13. I copied it to a flash drive and then installed it in the present TWRP, but then only TWRP starts.

Please make the next release include support for all apps in Dark Mode when it comes to individual settings as I still have many apps showing invisible text. I'm sure it can be done as the first version of MIUI 12 had support for all the apps under this setting.

Format data or flash the boot.img from rom 21.1.13

@Iain_B, it might not be the place where I read about those battery issues related to a recent rom update, but this thread in xda seems to be a bit elightening:

Bug Report:

Mi 9T Pro does not boot at all with this version or previous version. The last working version is 20.12.28.

Already wiped everything. Didn't work.

One strange thing: On boot, I saw a 'Redmi' logo instead of the usually 'Mi' logo. It is stuck in a bootloop until that logo.

EDIT: Just installed latest TWRP, and it is booting now. Fingers crossed
EDIT2: Got a initial setup crash. Removed both simcards to pass it.
