Same issue, MIUI 12.5 has this big problem:

Android core apps is the top battery drain
Mmmm - I've looked at some of these complaints about a bad battery drain. I really wonder if it is a ROM problem, or just the way that people have set their system up. In the past I have had high battery drain, but with a bit of tweeking here and there, and mindful use of some of the core settings, I have been able to cut the drain down quite considerably - in some cases to almost a flat line!

[Edit: I also some suggestions here in post #134 above. ]

I experienced this worse battery life with this version for the very first time! I have not changed anything in my system configuration, of my installed apps and so on. With last build, battery life was perfect. So it's not supposed to be MIUI 12.5, but whatever change from last week's one to this.

Thanks for your work.

I am experiencing intermittent wifi problem on both the first and third version of 21.1.6. (The second version is bootlooping) on my K20 Pro.

The wifi connects but while connected, sometimes it cannot access the internet and sometimes can. Mobile data works flawlessly.

I am unable to replicate this problem on both my iPad and my laptop so I think it's a problem with this version of the ROM.

Anyone else having a similar issue?
Same issue here, but only on 5ghz WiFi. No issues when connected to 2.4

hello! i made dirty installation of 12.5 v28, system works well, but twrp missed, I have installed twrp 3.5.0.10 with root by madjoker. but when I boot to recovery it doesn't ask me for pattern so files keeps encrypted, but I was able to install magisk. I tried many twrp no one of them askk for pattern to decrypt files.
is there a way to solve this issue with decryption? can I dirty install 21.1.6 with encryption?
is it something with dm encrypt velocity?
thanks.

Same issue here, but only on 5ghz WiFi. No issues when connected to 2.4

try to disable 5GHz autokanal on the router and choose another kanal as example 36. This worked for me.

Sometimes it can help if you split the SSID for 2.4 and 5GHz as well.

I have two MI9 phones, one is working out of the box no wifi problems, the other always disconnted if I had enabled 5GHz on the router.

Now both phones have a stable wifi connection (2.4GHz autokanal / 5GHz kanal 36) and MESH is workig well.

does anyone has an issue on activating developers option??? i already press baseband version many times but its not activating developers option....

clean install, rooted, k20pro premium
You activate developer options by tapping multiple times on "miui version" not "baseband version"

patern is not shown. Looks like twrp is not Android 11 ready yet for decrypting
Did you try this twrp?

First try booting with the twrp to see if using pattern works.
fastboot boot twrp-3.5.0_9-0-grus-teamwin.img

If it doesn't, then remove your screen lock.
After installing you can add your screen lock again

Mi 10 lite. Still have issue with WiFi (randomly disconnecting and cannot connect again) and no Volte icons at desktop status bar.

have same problem, tried to remove pattern, internal storage still encrypted. looks like twrp is not compatible with 11 or miui or something.

Try like this too
Remove screen lock,
Reboot to android not twrp
Then turn off device
Then boot to twrp (vol+ and power)

It was 2021. All, even the simplest, launchers had already learned to hide icon labels. And only MIUI still didn't not know how to hide labels.

You can install customiuizer as example and you can configure a lot of parameters as you want, not only the labels

You haven't provided any details about your issue
What do you mean by "bricked"?
What rom were you on previously?
How did you install?
What version of twrp?

Stuff like that.

Cheers!
