Do we have any workaround for Spotify notification bug? Looks like it disappears after some time, but if I use the app it comes back.

== 21.4.28/29 - Spotify "media" notification bug (Official issue by Xiaomi) ==

Possible workaround (temporary solution):

- Open Mi Music app and wait a few seconds. Then close Mi Music app in "Recents" screen and wipe the media notification. Done!

Known workaround (requires Magisk/root):

- Open Termux app (available on Google Play Store) and type:
su

Grant root permissions then type:
settings put secure qs_media_resumption 0

Type exit two times to quit Termux.

Done! :)

can I dirty flash it on MI 10 (UMI) while I'm on "21.4.7/8" update? looks like I missed 2 updates before this, so is it possible? or I should clean install?

Missing only 2 ROMs, and not upgrading on anything (still Miui 12.6 and Android 11) there should be no problem in 'dirty' flashing.
To make sure that you do not have any problems, you should tidy the memory beforehand, and clear Dalvik and cache, and delete the /data/system/package_cache folder.

Yes, but my chipset is just an overclocked version of the original Redmi K30 5G so theoretically it's still the same chipset right?

Yes, Redmi K30 5G ROM is compatible with Redmi K30 Speed.

Did you format data while switching ?
Did you restore parameters ?

Fix for 3rd party launchers gestures on android 11/ miui 12.x use FNG..

Rooted users only..

To remove the navigation bar

- install Magisk and the "Magiskhide Props Config" module
- Install the mod and reboot.
- switch gestures to nav bar in settings.
- open up termux and type in 'su' and hit enter and grant it root perms.
- copy and paste this >> 'props qemu.hw.mainkeys 1' and hit enter.
- enter y for each question until it reboot

Works flawlessly.. not encountered any issues

Tip.. systemize FNG.. requires to use modded magisk module available below on xda to work with android 11

Only bug one I notice which is not related to this fix... Just a 3rd party launcher issue .

You cannot access app info via recents context menu with a third party launcher enabled. Oh and recent animations don't work

It does launch it. Just doesn't focus on it.. you have to go via recents to see app info for that particular app again

Why are xiaomi constantly trying to ruin the user experience and lock you in apple style.

Nearby Sharing icon is missing. Anyway to access it?

I don't know which phone you have, but you can change the icons by clicking on the right-hand icon at the top-right. If the icon that you want is available, you should be able to add it.
