HI! DOWNLOAD WEEKLY 21.5.26 This version does not allow duplicating applications, when doing so the mobile restarts and the created app does not start.

Thank you for your work first of all
Hello, try this:

Go in phone's settings => "Apps" => "Dual apps" => Click the settings icon in the top right corner -> "Delete dual apps' accounts"

Device will reboot and you can try to make dual apps again.

;)

I can no longer edit, delete, discard or save APN settings, as the options are no longer available on either my Mi 10 Pro or Mi 11 Ultra running the latest weekly update MIUI 12.6 21.5.26/27. Previously, I was always able to edit the APN settings to work most efficiently with my carrier, as well as, delete the uneccesary preconfigured networks not applicable to me.

Seems weird that only k20 pro is affected by this since it's way more higher end device with higher specs than many that aren't.
K20 / K20 Pro / Mi 9 are in same boat... MIUI is getting bigger and bigger (and without fully-optimized code, what the f*** Xiaomi...) and since we can't resize the partition of these old devices, I don't know if they will receive MIUI 13... ^^

Mi 11 here is there a way to remove the afternoon/morning word beside the statusbar clock ? I know 24hr format removes it but i want to keep using 12hr format

Why can't the partition not be resized? Is it because it is read only? Wouldn't it be possible to be resized with a factory reset? Or reformat the partition to another file system (Maybe with twrp/magisk.) Just asking..

I install eu beta already.

everything is fine , smooth , rooted and see photo on dual storage

but some config has remove such hide notch from 3 option to 2 option

Mi 10 Lite Zoom + twrp 3.5.1 geoanto555

Mi 9T [davinci] dirty flashed OK; no problem so far, all good.
thank you !
Now, after being delayed, 21.5.27 for davinci (Redmi K20/Mi 9T) is available

However, considering the lean and mean Changelog for 21.5.26/27 and the reported issues with L1, Google account, dual apps, I'm no more sure should I update from 21.5.20 or not (where things work fine)

If by any chance, a cepheus (Mi9) user is also a clash of clans player could check, please let me know if the issue with the constant fade-in fade-out when changing screens is solved in this beta. Thank you!

I don't think Xiaomi would enjoy the factory reset / TWRP / Magisk solutions

Haha, it's not a very elegant solution, but it may be a solution. Like tell users miui 13 will require a format. (Ok actually, people without root that care about the app data probably wont upgrade..) But think the format might not even solve this..

Although the System is read-only, installing/updating MIUI overwrites the System. Hence, being read-only, per-se, is not preventing its resizing

Btw, there is a general solution for removing read-only from the System, resizing the System and flashing it back (for all A10/A11 phones with read-only SAR):

One has to dump the whole SAR to PC, use the tool, and flash it back to the phone through TWRP (and they say, it doesn't affect user Data).
In that case Xiaomi(eu) could be also able to resize System on-the-fly, as part of flashing (installing/updating) MIUI

Thanks for the reply, I have the 4GB one but it is not much more different than what you describe. I currently don't have root, but I will keep it in mind if it gets unbearable. Their memory usage is ridiculous.
I'm telling you that memory management module from Magisk is really helps you a lot,you can modify it to "not kill" the specific app in the background...

Guys, any one have problem with accessing storage for dual apps in Mi 10?
After this version i can't access it anymore! Tried deleting dual apps account and set it again but no luck! It shows that i have selected the dual storage but won't show it just the main storage!

Resizing physical memory blocks means repartitioning the whole memory, including erasure of user data. No company does that, or will be willing to do that. Since all recent devices use dynamic partitions spread across about 8.5GB of physical memory block, that is no longer a problem companies have to deal with.

However K20 pro have a big community...
Irrelevant. Static partitions are obsolete, no new devices come with predetermined partition sizes.

Not really. It's really important for me tbh, I often to add and remove account for my college and work.

Same here. Need to remove the exchange email account of my former company, but there is no remove/delete button.

Any idea? Don't want to do factory reset to get rid of that account.

Sure, the idea is to wait for the next release where we fixed it. However, we didn't break it so we don't really have to fix Xiaomi's mistakes, but then you're using a Weekly (a.k.a Beta) ROM, so issues are more than expected.
