CHANGELOG 22.7.19

System
Fix - Slow charging in certain scenarios (Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro/POCO F2 Pro only)

Starting from 22.6.22 release, we have released the recovery packages for some devices, because there are working TWRP releases for them.
For non-A/B devices, like Mi 10, you have to flash recovery from the fastboot mode, then reboot using the "fastboot reboot-recovery" command, then flash the ROM; TWRP will not be replaced automatically unless you flash the new, working recovery.
For A/B devices, like Mi 11, you have to boot recovery from fastboot only, then flash the new release; TWRP will be replaced automatically.

It is the last Weekly ROM (Stables will continue) for the following devices:
Mi CC9 Pro/Mi Note 10/Pro, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 Lite Zoom, Redmi K30, Redmi K30 5G, Redmi K30i 5G, Redmi K30 Pro/POCO F2 Pro.

We've made an important announcement regarding our support for MediaTek-Dimensity based devices.
We need your help! More details

For Mi 11i we must flash twrp image again using fastboot cmd, or from recovery menu just flash the TWRP image from updated link ?

Mi10T Pro.
I have the TWRP version installed from a year and a half ago when I unlock the mobile, do I have to update it or does it matter?
Then I do the 4 Wipes? system, data, cache, dalvik?
Thank you very much for the work of these years, you are incredible.

If you don't have the latest TWRP installed at the moment, just boot to it using fastboot boot twrp.img and then install ROM. TWRP will be there automatically, no need to flash it manually.

You should rather update the TWRP to have working decryption on the Android 12 releases.

If you install the ROM for the first time, you do format data (as described on the first post). If you had the xiaomi.eu beta before (I assume you had, as you said there's a TWRP already) then you can just update the ROM without wipe (although you will need to wipe if you're moving from stable release).

On Xiaomi 12x I have not any TWRP (because previously installed by fastboot). Should I boot TWRP from fastboot and install zip file, or should I install TWRP for the first time?

Boot TWRP from fastboot and install the ZIP, you don't need to install TWRP on that device, the ROM already has TWRP included once you flash it.

Hello devs. regarding Mi10, the next stable, will be based on this last weekly? or it will be just a security update with no new features? Thanks.

Backup doesn't work here either.

Strange question. Weeky is Weekly, Stable is Stable. Stables are not based on Weeklies.
Most likely, the next Stable will still be older than this Weekly when it comes to features, although many of the system apps are still updated by us.

I thought that the weekly is a beta rom that Will end with a stable ROM. Thanks for the clarification.

I think sometimes features could be subtracted from Weekly to make a stable at a certain deadline. It is a race for the devs to fix all issues, then only stable parts captiured to stable version. My last phone was Mi 8 and I noticed these things, for me it was better to pick the best weekly, rather than downgrade to stable

Hi @Igor Eisberg

CHANGELOG

Cloud backup

Fix - Cloud backup was not working in some cases
=> Cloud Backup is running flawless for me on Poco F3, thanks!

Updater
Fix - ROM installation wasn't starting automatically after reboot to recovery
=> I didn't received any notification that a OTA update was available for "Poco F3" then I manually installed as follow:

1) Downloaded the xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK40_POCOF3_22.7.13_v13-12.zip file to the internal storage
2) Settings \ My Device \ 13 MIUI version (Icon) \ Updater Menu - Top at Right (...) \ Choose update package \ Select the downloaded file from Step 1, <ok>, <ok>, <ok>, <Yes> then Reboot to Recovery

3) TWRP Splash Screen \ Insert PIN
4) Install \ Select the downloaded file from Step 1 <slide bar to the right>

5) Reboot \ System

Is that how the update should work or it's suppose to "start automatically" as mentioned above?

Note: I currently using latest TWRP 3.6.2 A12 by Nebrassy

Can I update from twrp without having to disable security pin or password ?
yes if you use twrp for A12

I noticed an improvement after the "System UI Plug-in" version 13.0.2.20.0 update that came with Weekly 22.7.13
Now when changing DPI in Developer Mode \ Smallest Width the size of the Control Panel interface doesn't change anymore on Poco F3.

EDITED: As mentioned by @geoorg at #33 the "improvement" is not permanent.

Regards,
