Hello 2 all

Thanks again devs for this milestone. I really appreciate your hard work. I wouldn't use Xiaomi without Xiaomi.eu at all! Just love it! I can't wait to install HyperOS on my 13 Pro but I'm a bit scared as the device is my daily device. After reading every post I still have some questions. Maybe you can help me out.

Here's my setup:
Xiaomi 13 Pro (nuwa) - China Import running 14.02.23.9.18 DEV (latest weekly)
Root with magisk (nice to have but not necessary for me)
TWRP 3.7.0.0_12-Xiaomi13Pro_v7.2v_A13
Would flash thru Fastbook on my Mac (can go thru Windows 11 as well).

My questions:
1. Clean install is always best I know but if it works thru dirty flash I would be happy. Anyone has good experience with dirty flash?
2. As my bootloader is unlocked I will not run into problems regarding bootloader as I'm using a chinese market device, correct? I read about "no unlock BL without Level 5" but I assume it's for new devices. Is that correct?
3. Do I need to update my TWRP to twrp-3.7.0_12-v8.1t5_A14-nuwa-skkk.img before installing thru fastboot? I know it's not encrypting yet. Mine seems to be a bit old.

i flashed latest miui 14, rebooted, setup, rebooted to a13 twrp, flashedtwrp a14, flashed hyper os. all good. After setting up hyper os, rebooted back to a14 twrp, encryption working, and flashed magisk 26.1 without issues. fuxi

got issues connecting samsung watch 5 pro though.. google play services needs update... know the issue....is due to wrong fw for connecting... to bad. bye hyper os

Just updated from MIUI 14.

Problems:

1) Changing brightness from dropdown status bar doesn't work. It won't let me change it. When sliding it closes the bar.
2) Animations were set to OFF from Developers Menu, but they are not really off.
3) Phone HEATS. Xiaomi 13 Pro. Same as before update. What can I do? :( Heats like crazy.

Help?

For what its worth, I managed to eliminate many of initial UI glitches seen immediately after update by cleaning caches/memory/obsolete files with the default Xiaomi cleaner and then simply put my phone to reboot couple of times.

Hello, I was trying to install the rom with HyperOs via fastboot on my redmiK60, but when the installation finished, the phone stayed in a bootloop, that is, it does not pass the redmi logo
I am on the latest stable version of miui 14.

Did you run the update_rom or the first_install_with_data_format script?
 
Somebody's reported earlier in this thread that they managed to workaround a similar problem by flashing a stock ROM with the official Mi Flash tool and then install the xeu ROM using the first install script.

Ishtar here, dirty flashed from 9.18 dev version, all issues found solution here and worked okay, thanks the dev for this update
to access wallet from settings is quite inconvenient, is there any way to create shortcut?

I have the same problem. Is there a solution?
 
My battery drain is just too much. Like 25% at night, without using the phone. ('Android core apps' used a lot of battery upon checking).

I'm using Xiaomi 13 Pro + xposed + LSposed. Used debloater when I first installed miui14.

Should I leave Xiaomi.eu rom? Can't even use the phone for a few minutes now.. gets super hot.
Or should I wipe everything and reinstall rom?

My 13 Pro works fine, test follow steps: (with losing all data, make Backup first!)
- Flash Stock ROM, with format data (Xiaomi Tool)
- Follow steps on first Post (with TWRP a14skk or fastboot mode)

-> all was working fine, also banking apps and governmant apps and so on (mostly cache relevant as they only logout after a month or two).
> Waited for release of TWRP A14

As far as I can say at the first few starts where very slow.
The funny thing is that it gets much faster after flashing TWRP A14 and Magisk/LSPosed.
Could be that anything was still hanging in the background.

But as far as I can tell after a few days:
> Battery is now trained and long lasting. Longer as in MIUI 14 (Playing more games as on MIUI 14 and the battery drains not as fast as before).
> Also the battery life of my Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro seems to have extended.

From my side:
All works fine which I need.

Thanks to all the DEVs on the great release.
New Android Version including a new OS above could always have some issues, but for me all is fine.
Also supporting much smartphones is always hard and much more work.
