We moved the keyboard to the /data partition. If you don't have one, your /data partition must not be working. We tried this upgrade many many times before we pushed it public and worked out all the kinks. So check what is in /data/media.

MD5 that is on the build box matches the MD5 that is shown here, and it reports the same size as well. I'm rebuilding it, so we will see.

Well, I cant find /data/media folder. I tried to install in many ways (all wipes, system1-2, erase SD card, flash previus version and update again) but i have the same problem Any idea?

Havent installed yet as Im waiting for multilang. Personally Im glad the stock google kb will be removable. Hate that imie switcher.

Strange... I have Google Keyboard working fine. Its on /data/media/preinstall_app. It wipes that folder before moving stuff from zip so only keyboard should be left.

Hi I'm having the missing keyboard problem on Mi2A, multilang.
Using ES File Explorer I see that /data is empty (no "media", no other file or folder).
Ok, using adb root shell, I can see the contents.
/data/media holds the folder "preinstall_apps"
Inside it there is:
LatinImeGoogle.apk
reinstall_apps
