I downloaded the new rom version (HM2014811 = Redmi 2 WCDMA) for Redmi 2. I can't apply this update. The message are:
1.'' corrupted update''-http://celogeek.miuiandroid.com/5.4.3/ and 2.''the update can not be applied''-http://htcfanboys.com/download/acid/?action=list&folder=71473.

This is another good update for me, using the Redmi Note 4G global (Dior). Very stable and fast rom. Battery works well and lasting. Waiting for Lollipop... to appear here one day for Redmi Note 4G. Oh yeah, the 5th anniversary boot animation is very very nice!

Suggestion: maybe once every three months the Boot Animation be changed, as it can also reflect progressive updates of rom. I think many users will love this.

Yes, simple install it via updater app as usual. First installation and booting time takes a long time, do not worry. It is working at me without any major issue!

Updated my MI2S. Everything's ok.
But I have strange behaviour of touch buttons.

After I lock the phone there is a 1-2 seconds gap when the phone can wake up because I touched and held the menu button. Also there is vibration feedback from touch buttons during this gap.
And while using the phone I noticed that back button sometimes launches recent apps screen, but I didn't find any pattern there, just happens spontaneously.

For now it is suitable for everyday use, no any major issue. Yesterday we had some issues yet with google services and google apps but Ingbrzy solved them all. So, hats off!

I have just experienced them. They disappeared after updating Google Play services (also Google services Framework, Google Account Manager, Google Partner Setup) and Google Keyboard.

I must say this: The latest release from april 2-3(dior)
Its smooth, its faster, you can make pictures now when phone is locked. +1

If anyone has experienced problems with google services or google apps after update to 5.4.2 MIUIv6-5.0 on Mi2/2S, then should try this install method which is working perfectly (tested and confirmed):

1. install 5.3.27 MIUI6-4.4 fastboot ROM with MiFlash using flash_all.bat script
2. install xiaomi.eu multilnag 5.3.27 MIUI6-4.4 ROM using MiRovery or Updater app
3. update google play services and install gmail from google play and sync it
3.1 install any third party keyboard from Google play (eg. SwiftKey) and set it ready for use
4. install xiaomi.eu multilnag 5.4.2. MIUIv6-5.0 ROM using Updater app
5. update google play services
6. Install any google app from google play what you want
7. done
