The current stable releases called as MIUI7.1
The naming is a bit misleading, because it is still MIUI7 with version v7.1.x.x
So, it is not stepped up version of MIUI7

Something happened in the installation in the redmi 1s, I had twrp but I was too lazy and made the update in the updater app, for some reason it installed the MI recovery and now I don't have twrp
