I like xiaomi.eu project, i like latest miui8 rom, but for the first time I see ignoring an obvious problem with battery drain and occasional heating of mi4c.

As I wrote, it started with upgrade to first miui8 rom. Slightly better in this one, but battery lasts barely extended office hours... sot little bit over 2 hours. With miui7 it was close to 4h, and I was charging late in the evening.
Battery usage statistics in settings seems normal...

When I'm really careful I must plug in a charger at 17:00 daily. Fully charged at 6:00.

Please beware and please take at least a look in next release what could cause this...

I'm reporting the same problems with mi4c. Battery drain when phone is not used, heating and a lot of wakelock with Bluetooth, proximity sensor manager.
If I disable Bluetooth the situation ot's little better, but there are a lot of problems with miui 8 and mi4c

But I cannot install xposed frame into it.
I try several version but failed.

Is adb enabled when in recovery? If it is you can do it from Windows Command Prompt or Mac/linux shell.

i did try to wait it didn't work.
eventually i flashed TWRP 3.0.2-0 from TS and it works like a charm.. was a bit tricky to find the language section to change it to english though

Big thanx to everybody that's investing their time and skill to xiaomi.eu roms. I got Mi4c and Redmi 3 Pro, both running Miui8 in my native languge and everything is working perfectly. No glitches whatsoever. Awesome work you're doing. Big kudos to translators too.

I have Xiaomi.eu 7.3.2.0 stable that I flashed via TWRP.
Now, when I'm trying to update to 7.5.2.0 via updater (downloaded xiaomi.eu_multi_MI4s_V7.5.2.0.LAJCNDE_v7-5.1), I'm getting: Couldn't verify update package.



How can I update to 7.5.2.0 without losing any data?

Have you downloaded the ROM?
Click on the three dots in the upper right and select the download you did

Have you tried flashing it with TWRP instead of the updater app! If not then do try! And also you might have to completely wipe data, cache, dalvik and system before installing!
DO TAKE A BACKUP BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!
