Installation:

Xiaomi devices:
  • Install TWRP via Fastboot mode, then install our ROM
  • TWRP Recovery Zip DOWNLOAD
  • For root install SuperSU 2.76 in TWRP

Some facts about OTA delay:
  • OTA packages are always same as posted here, so FULL ROM (400-1000MB)
  • Installation via OTA is same as you do, so Updater - Menu - Select installation zip
  • OTA is uploading into Xiaomi china servers which are very slow for download and upload (usually 30-40kb/s for uploading over 10GB) so I have to upload them always at night one by one and I dont have time for doing that every week... Unfortunately OTA account is binded to my Xiaomi account so nobody else can do that instead of me...
  • So we decided to upload OTA only once per month or more and not weekly... Users who are lazy to go here and download zip manually, can wait over month to get new version via OTA, they just dont care about new updates...
  • OTA for cancro / virgo / redmi 2 is too risky after Android base change.. so we decided to save users from bricked devices caused by OTA update... they have to update manually to have it under control...

No Miui 7.5.3 for Redmi 2, not good.. :/
 
This is the best version so far, sot 5.3h, phone is cool like an ice cream, running fast like a jet, AnTuTu 65k, everything nice mifourc

hi guys, in this version, when the volume is rising from the headphones, this rises to the maximum, plus the center button to answer calls, not working properly. Apparently, when they are pressed, it appears that multiple pulses occur. This occurs from version 6.7.7 and not earlier. Redmi 2 4G.

Hmm... that makes me thinking: how come that unlimited size setting shows up in your mi4s but doesn't show up in my mi max?

Before I saw your post, I just flashed again the official china dev rom 6.8.11, to make comparison, and those problems are not found in the official china version.
Wifi and LTE download are normal. (compared to much slower wifi and lte download in eu)
Able to download using mobile data. (unable in eu, always waiting for wi-fi)
Unlimited size option in Download App > Setting still exists. (missing in eu)
I thought there's a bug in the eu version.
I don't know if this has something to do with regions (e.g.: eu is for those living in europe, while I'm living in Indonesia, Southeast Asia)
But now I saw your post about this unlimited size, and I think I will flash the eu version once again, to find out what went wrong.

Hi guys,
Excuse my English.
While waiting to receive my mi5 I just installed on my MI2S MIUI8 the version I recovered on en.Miui.com . I did not pay attention which did not contain the french .
I am trying to download the rom for MI2S on the site.
Only I have a problem , install TWRP ?
How should I do ? Using MiFlash and through the fastboot ?
 
I've been using Xiaomi.EU rom for 2 years now. Every week I do the update (I use the developer rom on my Mi3). Never had any problem at all. I just wanted to say thanks to the whole team. Excellent work, folks, and very well localized, too (I use Italian language).

If i get the 8Mb/s downloadspeed in chrome and playstore i didn´t have any problems
but i only get 600 kb´s download speed in this 2 apps and this is way to slow^^

Thats my problem ^^

And as said on my HTC One M9 i dind´t had this 600kb/s limitation

Never had playstore speed problems on Mi4 LTE on this or previous roms, not using chrome but with mi browser and build in downloads the speed is also good
