Light sensor? Yea it's a bit buggy - finger print has no issues.
More importantly the accelerometer or orientation sensor: every few hours it stops working and the phone doesnt go in landscape mode anymore (no auto fullscreen videos, no landscape galley pictures, camera upside down etc.). It happens with every ROM I tried since I got the phone (6 or 7 different ones) and still no fix....

Running Android (this version) is draining to much battery on mi max. But everything else looks perfect. Great work!

Well that doesn't sound very pleasant. Fortunately I haven't experienced those.

Going back to Global stable.
I heard alot of good things about EU ROMs but this one in particular has some annoying yet simple bugs that somehow made it throughout like 5 or even more iterations of MIUI 8

I do wish developers best of luck and inspiration for future builds - but having a changelogs and proper list of known bugs would save a tonn of time for common folk like me who are just after good experience.
Thanks

Installed since yesterday, everything seems ok without any bugs (yet), still searching for one tho. No battery drain on Mi4S, but still not as best as miui7

If I'm coming from the official CM13 for Kenzo (which is based on 6.0.1) do I need to flash anything else first?

I'm asking because to flash CM13 kenzo, I need to flash the CM13 "firmware" file first. Will the radios be incompatible with the xiaomi.eu version, which is based on 5.1?

Mi3 battery drain 00:30am. battery 45% 6hr. late 2%

Hey guys, just few more bugs noticed in my Mi5

Either IR port or Remote app are off - Can't control anything even tho it worked on Global

- Google on Tap is greyed out. Can't turn it on. It can't be really used in Global as well (since you can't configure button for Tap, only Google Now), but you are able to activate it on Global ROM

Hi all,

Sorry I'm new here.

What's the different between 'Download weekly' & 'Download stable'?

My brother in law got a Mi 4S but it keeps pop up with ads. I think it should be a China ROM. However, Xiaomi official doesn't release global ROM for this model.

I got this page after done some survey at Miui forum.

Thank you.

Weekly ROMs are development versions, with the latest changes but might have bugs too. They are rooted.
Stable ROMs aren't updated so frequently, but they are meant to be the most stable firmware. Not rooted.

BTW, there's no stable ROM for MIUI v8, just v7 and back.

Redmi note prime is not connecting to my laptop in this update and when i open the usb debbuging mode it restarts plz help thanks in advance

Weeklys are not rooted. You have to flash SuperSU

You can ask on official miui forum for this 2 aplication for your model of phones.
Imho, it's not possible anymore to download music with new xiaomi music aplication, older one maybe.

Also if you know some Chinese, you can download xiaomi market from aptoide and by this market search for this 2 aplication.

Or try tk download this version of market: https://xiaomi-market.en.uptodown.com/android
