Hello Stefano,
Do you speak french ? I am living in Switzerland also and if yes could you help me for flashing my new phone Redmi Note 4 please ? Normally it is unlocked but impossible to flash with xiaomi.eu ROM.
Thanks.
Hello, I understand French very well, writing difficult. Write me in private

Which one of the Xiaomi.eu ROMs Is (was) the best on a Kenzo?

It's strange that nobody wants to voice an opinion about this.

Is it heresy to imply that any previous ROM release might be in some ways superior to the current weekly or current stable?

I think it's matter of personal experience. For me, current 6.9.29 on par and maybe slightly better than previous build. Battery life good enough. Sot was decent. Basic function like gps, alarm, music/video, etc worked well. So far I don't find any significant bug in these build. As for stable I never tried one except from official miui rom.

No, It is not possible
Unlock bootloader
Install twrp for nikel in fastboot mode whit adb.exe
Install rom for nikel

Settings menu language is in English, main language is Portuguese, version HM3 8.0.2.0. Redmi 3 Pro. Tried also a clean install with full wipes and the problem remains.

Is it a bug?

the latest weekly (dev) release is always the best choice

I would agree in most cases.

But as I explained before, for someone who wants to install a ROM only once and stick with it, there might be better choices, no?

I have a Redmi 3pro so i cant speak for the Kenzo. If i would not want to update regularly id stick to the last Miui 7 weekly build as it was really stable and had great batterylife (i used it for nearly 2 months before switching to Miui 8 weeklys).
But its personal preferances ;)

For me, the best update for kenzo was weekly 6.9.9 - no bugs and i get about 10h of sot over 2 days of use

Everything looks fine in this version for Mi5, but I have a huge BUT. My bluetooth is so weak that having the phone 5cm from my face (not exaggerating) and holding the phone with my hand, which normal, the bluetooth is so weak my bluetooth headsets loose connection.
I have checked the bluetooth signal and compared with the Mi3, and the Mi3 is much better (-73db for Mi3, and -86db for Mi5).

Is it that my phone is defective or is it something in this ROM?

I have the same problem with my Bose speaker, actually for the whole summer. So it' not related to this version of Rom or maybe to this Rom at all.

Hello,

According to what i can read here, it is more than confirmed that there is no issue with this rom and Chinese Version of the Redmi 3s.
I am currently runing Chinese Dev Rom 6.9.29 on my redmi 3s and there is no issue at all.

I finally got my approval to unlock bootloader and I would like to install your version of the Rom.

Any idea when it will be available again?
Or should I install the previous version... :-(

Thank you all for the wonderfull job!
Just wait next weekly release bro (this week)

After Upgrade 6.9.29 my redmi notes 3 pro has died without giving any sign of life ... when I put it to charge appeared a flashing red LED, but now no longer appears even that ... It happened to somebody else? how did you solve?

I don't think your phone died due to the upgrade as I have upgraded as well on same device.

Hey, if I want to go out xiaomi.eu 6.9.29 on the global developer miui8, I need to do a full wipe? Or just as a normal flash update? Generally globaldeveloper better or worse than xiaomi.eu 6.9.29?

@ingbrzy or whoever can help, I'm having an issue with phone changing displayed language for a single app after a firmware upgrade on stable:
Phone: Redmi 3
Language set: Greek
Previous firmware: Xiaomi.eu stable 8.0.1.0
Problem: after upgrading to xiaomi.eu stable 8.0.2.0 from 8.0.1.0 and doing a wipe cache/dalvik cache afterwards, the following issues appeared:

1) (the important one): after this upgrade, everything in the settings menu appears in English instead of Greek, including the app name, "Settings" instead of "Ρυθμίσεις". Even stranger, this seems to affect only the settings app. The other bundled MIUI8 apps (updater, calendar etc) were not affected, that is they display properly in Greek. I'm attaching a couple of screenshots.

2) (less important): certain desktop customizations (home and lock screen wallpapers, theme icons) have been eradicated.

I'm mostly concerned with (1) above, any idea what has gone wrong?

I've tried to switch to English, reboot, then switch to Greek but the problem persists.

Ok, and what does it mean? What I have to do? There are a solution?

just tips...try it in the following order:

- try long press on power button ~10sec
- try to charge up your phone with different charger and try to reboot phone
- try to boot into TWRP recovery and try flash ROM again or make factory reset
- try to boot into fastboot mode and flash china fastboot ROM via MiFlash
