Installed Yesterday evening, running smooth and stable in my Redmi Note 4X.

No batterie drain or locks. Thanks to the team for excellent work.

The only issue I have is that pushing the security icon gets me directly to the updater. Before a menu was displayed.
Is this a bug or can it be set somewhere in settings? I really loved this, now it is useless.

Yes, I do Unlocked my Phone, after flash emmc_appsboot.mbn, so last rom just work!
But why old rom is not request this operation? What difference in new to get this opperation?

I dont have this issue. Work fine. Check APNS or restart APN to default. Maybe just do flash via xiaomiflash with last china developer fastboot rom with clean all option. Flash last twrp for cancro, install last xiaomi.eu from twrp and do wipe cache and dalvik, data and internal storage and reboot to system.

I do flash emmc_appsboot.mbn in fastboot mode, thats processed ok, but no result. Last ROM thats work 7.9.14

Alternatively you can use the flashable zip file, if you are worry, open the zip file and check the emmc file and the script ..

I've got already oppened developer options. But I need an engineer mode to change settings: Volume levels in particular. Digital speaker at minimum is still loud for me.

Take a look at Magisk - there is a Module called "Volume Steps increase". Doubled the steps for Volume!
