slow internet speed due to wifi connectivity. Signal bars not filling up even when close to router. Was ok with version 7.9.20

Same issue for me on Hermes (Redmi Note 2). Slow internet speed on WiFi. (not new, was already there for couple of weeks)

AFAIK it'll be with the "November 6 2017" Android security patch level thingy. I think it's Xiaomi's.

I have read many posts but still did not find the ansver, what twrp i must use for normal update, now i have installed 3.0.3.1. I can't find new twrp for mi4s, only for mi4c. Can someone left the link for correct twrp for mi4s aqua?

Same problem as Mi4c & kenzo.

Follow the guide but use the emmc file from MIUI China 7.9.14 for MI4s

I just now noticed when I downloaded *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* from XDA that CameraApi2 is no longer enabled by default in your rom (I'm speaking about MI5 Gemini)
I remember that from Miui8 you decided to add that Api 2 enabled by default included with fix for the front camera rotate,And only now I noticed that from Miui9 its no longer avaliable,
What was the reason for that? Api2 ruins the Miui camera or something?

I have problems(MIX 2) with receiving or making calls when in a 4g(+) network?!I have to set manually the network to 3G or put it on LTE/TD-SCDMA/WCDMA instead of LTE/TD-SCDMA/UMTS?! Are you experiencing the same?

I can confirm that everything works fine on Mi4c 32Gb with a dirty flash from 7.10.12. The battery life on 7.10.12 is one of the worst and we will see how it will go with 7.10.19
No issues with Sim card, Wifi, 3G/4G, Bluetooth on both ROMS. Keep in mind that 7.10.12 was a clean install with very least applications backup.

Problem by trying to update Mix 2 via updater app (from SD card). After choosing rom the updater app crashes.

I thought by OTA it's not necessary to download the whole rom. I got OTA on Mix 2 but it has size of 1,2GB.

However, I'll update my Mix 2 through TWRP.
