It is the same like last 8.2 beta. We are testers. We are testing betas. And when some beta came good to use, it becomes stable and beta program start new release it this case v8.3
 
I heard that the latest dev 7.2.16 will become stable.Is this true?

Flashed 7.2.16 on my Mi4 LTE, so far no mayor complaints. I will post my thoughts about it after few days of testing.
 
Sorry for the dumb question, how do I use the bt unlock function?
Can't find any device even when connected to bt in my car.

i installed xposed on my RN3P Kate and using xMIUI (3$) module i can activate google smart unlock features... i missed it too on the "original" miui. it works flawlessly on my phone, now at home i dont need fingerprint :)

i agree, if it would open the google app at least. with the above module i deactivated the search bar ...

as im recommending this module so much i have to say im not getting paid by the developer but im very happy with further customizations on miui
 
Battery is awful on mi5s 3/64. last night 8% usage instead of 2-3% with same settings. and when the screen is on just some browsing or using mediaplayer you can watch the percentage going doing very quickly. has the governor changed?

For my mi5s battery is awful on CDMA 3g. It is good on WiFi and on GSM though. Not sure what causes the problem. Drained 40% in 3 hours.

Mi Max 3/32 Battery Life with the newest reUpload. VoLTE enabled, Sync is On, 4G and Wifi all the time. Normal daily use, mails, youtube, chrome etc.

Please NEXT version add IPTV Multicast support for all MIUIs phone by 2 line in config of kernel:

CONFIG_NF_NAT_PROTO_UDPLITE=y
CONFIG_IP_MULTICAST=y

That IPTV can play UDP streaming Live TV same as others Android phone.
XDA devs tested: LineageOS 14.1 (2/18/2017)

This rom is good, but yet again the battery is not as good as previous build for RN4.

Installation:

Xiaomi devices:
  • Install TWRP via Fastboot mode, then install our ROM

  • For root install SuperSU 2.76 in TWRP
  • For root MiPAD2 use SuperSU 2.46 in TWRP

  • Install TWRP via Fastboot mode, then install our ROM
  • Code:

How to update to Android 7.0 from Android 6.0:
- Install LATEST Android 6.0 release for MI5 6.11.10
- Install TWRP 3.0.2.3 or ZCX
- Reboot to new TWRP
- Install Android 7.0 release
- Reboot - Never wipe /system partition manually!
- Done
- In case of any issues, make factory reset via system settings
- For ROOT on Android 7.0 install SuperSU 2.79

For Redmi NoteW installation, follow this guide for repartition your internal storage...
otherwise you will get bootloop and cry to your pillow..!

For Xiaomi MiPAD 1 is required to merge both system partitions by this guide

Some facts about OTA delay:
  • OTA packages are always same as posted here, so FULL ROM (400-1000MB)
  • Installation via OTA is same as you do, so Updater - Menu - Select installation zip
  • OTA is uploading into Xiaomi china servers which are very slow for download and upload (usually 30-40kb/s for uploading over 10GB) so I have to upload them always at night one by one and I dont have time for doing that every week for 30 devices... Unfortunately OTA account is binded to my Xiaomi account so nobody else can do that instead of me...
  • So we decided to STOP OTA support at all.. you have to download ROM manually and install via Updater - menu (...) - Select installation package - reboot (You will not loose your data)

why don't you have optimized global rom of Redmi4Prime (markw) v.8.1.2.0 MBEMIDI?

Has anyone reported that this build doesn't support Xposed 87 sdk arm64 Miui Edition no more?
Reinstallation of Xposed locks on my Mi Note 2 with this build.
