Unlock with Bluetooth device only works with Xiaomi devices...unfortunately...

1) Is there a way to restore the smart unlock feature embedded in vanilla Android?

i installed xposed on my RN3P Kate and using xMIUI (3$) module i can activate google smart unlock features... i missed it too on the "original" miui. it works flawlessly on my phone, now at home i dont need fingerprint

That search bar is the most useless thing I've ever seen. I like the weather tho.

i agree, if it would open the google app at least. with the above module i deactivated the search bar ...

as im recommending this module so much i have to say im not getting paid by the developer but im very happy with further customizations on miui

Battery is awful on mi5s 3/64. last night 8% usage instead of 2-3% with same settings. and when the screen is on just some browsing or using mediaplayer you can watch the percentage going doing very quickly. has the governor changed?

For my mi5s battery is awful on CDMA 3g. It is good on WiFi and on GSM though. Not sure what causes the problem. Drained 40% in 3 hours.

Please NEXT version add IPTV Multicast support for all MIUIs phone by 2 line in config of kernel:

That IPTV can play UDP streaming Live TV same as others Android phone.

mi pad 2 updated from prevoius 8.2 beta. after 2 minutes screen freezes and after 1 minute reboot. useless..

Some facts about OTA delay:

• OTA packages are always same as posted here, so FULL ROM (400-1000MB)
• Installation via OTA is same as you do, so Updater - Menu - Select installation zip
• OTA is uploading into Xiaomi china servers which are very slow for download and upload (usually 30-40kb/s for uploading over 10GB) so I have to upload them always at night one by one and I dont have time for doing that every week for 30 devices... Unfortunately OTA account is binded to my Xiaomi account so nobody else can do that instead of me...
• So we decided to STOP OTA support at all.. you have to download ROM manually and install via Updater - menu (...) - Select installation package - reboot (You will not loose your data)
