Sorry to abuse this thread but I really need help and hope someone able to help will read this.

I have a MI 4LTE-CT running android 4.4.4. KTU84P MIUI Global 7.2 | Stable 7.2.4.0(KXGCNCK) - suspect vendor ROM because of many popup commercials and apps installing by themselves.

I'd like to flash latest global stable via fastboot but I get the result as show in picture. 1 sec flash successful and no change.

What am I doing wrong?

Access path is too long for fastboot ROM folder. Unpacked fastboot ROM folder should be directly in root of C drive.

That error means device and rom mismatching so you have downloaded incorrect fastboot ROM for your device

How can that be? Can you give me the link to a correct ROM? I tried both global stable and developer for MI.

Installed dev build for Note 4 (sd,mido) but encountered a few bugs. So I want to switch back to stable 8.2.2.0 like it was shipped out with. There are two HMNote4 ROMs in the stable folder. Which one is the right one? They only differ by date.

Screenshot 1 are recovery roms, Screenshot 3 is the correct fastboot rom to use.

The roms linked here are custom roms, if you want to go back to factory you need official rom.

I know that. Just want to go back to stable xiaomi.eu rom. But I don't know which file to choose because there are two files with the same name.
I don't see stable roms for "Mido" - "HMNote4X" there is two for "Nickel" but they are not for your device.

Edit: - If you flash developer "HMNote4", no wonder your having problems, you flashed wrong rom.

Obviously. Maybe someone made a typo there because for the stock rom it was a Note 4 in device info now it's a Note 4X. Maybe I should just wait.

I did not flash it. It was dev note 4x I flashed but still bugs for me. Seems there is no mm / stable support for mido. So you were right and I have to go back to stock.

Hi all, redmi note 4 mtk users, has battery life come back to normal yet with this new rom? Mine is still not what it used to be. I've tested for two days now and the phone dies maybe 3hrs earlier than it did with the same use.

I am still unable to flash official ROM via fastboot on Mi4.

I tried making the folder name shorter, tried putting it on root C and on desktop, I always get the same result.

I downloaded the latest MiFlash and ROM. I now have android 4.4.4 and MIUI 7 on the phone and I want to flash the latest official, clean all, because I suspect the current ROM is modified to have bloatware, popups and self installing apps.

Can someone suggest how to flash the official ROM?

it probably just takes a veeeeery long time to boot, especially if you're on a Marshmallow-based ROM and somehow supersu installs itself on systemless mode

What is the best way to go back to official Global Stable ROM? Currently on latest build with TWRP. I want to have my phone back to as it was out of the box. So also without TWRP.

I know that this ROMs are dependent on their chinese conterparts but I think in stead of 4 weakly roms that have a lot of problems , a monthly rom that fixes more of the problems (the core problems related to cores not working, overheating, etc at least) would be better.
MIUI its at a point where its far worse than unofficial nougat ROMs in terms of quickness, functionality, battery life, ram management ,overal experience. The only category where MIUI is better its the camera.

On my MI5 latest version the power consumption seems to be very good, but i cannot receive Whatsapp notifications on lockscreen and connot get into some WFI hotspots anymore, the same problems i had many versions ago as well. I upgraded with wipe cache/davlik.
