Just updated Google app to 7.10.25.21 and it crashes every time I tap on search bar widget, don't know if MIUI or google's fault.

Fingerprint sensor still doesnt work on flat surfaces or works by the fifth or sixth time. Just a question to MIUI team. Is it fixable or are you working on it? Its probably the only thing holding me back from MIUI 9. Thanks for making this awesome rom tho

I've been trying to install this Rom for mi5s all night without any luck. I'm now on 7.7.6 weekly. I'm trying from updater witch just boot into TWRP. TWRP is only giving me file corrupt error. I also tried the latest TWRP without any luck.

Also tried to download the zip using my phone and pc multiple times with same results. It's all corrupt
Help?

In MIUI8 format data required in order to use updater app for install updates otherwise it will decrypting that is deleting ROM.zip and when automatically reboot to TWRP then nothing to install. That is why you get file corrupt.

Download ROM.zip > reboot to TWRP recovery > install ROM.zip > reboot to system

It always works...

1. Unlock
2. Flash fastboot rom miui9 (official chinesse dev rom).
3. Unlock again
4. Flash twrp from .eu web for Android N
5. Flash eu miui9

I tried now several times to upgrade my Redmi 4X to 7.8.17 but it always fails. Either saying the new Rom is corrupt or the upgrade process stops somewhere @ 99% . At present the phone runs with MIUI 8.6 7.7.20 EU Rom.
Anything I need to observe ?

now, after about 4-5 downloads of the same ROM from different PC's the result remains the same. Either it says "File corrupt" or it stopps during upgrade. At the same time I was able to upgrade my 4C without a glitch.
Any help would be appreciated , tks

Can someone help me? I can not install miui 9 beta, my mi4c is in miui 8.1.2 stable with android 5.1, I installed rom via TWRP with the necessary wipes, but the cell phone goes into bootloop, so I installed miui 8.1.2 again. How do i install miui 9 beta correctly?

Great job! MIUI 9 is indeed much faster. After one day of use, I still didn't notice any issues.

PS. for all people with problems installing, use the xiaomi tool (can't paste link, search in XDA).
