I use the weekly roms so that at least every two weeks there is an update if I do not use stable roms, or stable global ones, that's what I wanted to say, they all have oreo less the mix2 in EU.

Mix2 will only receive the Oreo after the Redmi 3S has been upgraded to Nougat o_O
Even Redmi 3S has been updated this week and Mix2 does not, very sad...

MI6 was the first target device, started one-two weeks before Mix2 testing.

You are very rude, making demands and saying it is unacceptable, when you are not paying a single cent for people's labour, knowledge and time.

If you want it earlier, you are always free to pay a private developer to do the work for you.

Something very bad has happened here, on this forum. So many personal comments and attacks towards people reporting bugs.

For you, all moral teachers, can you imagine that offering something for free still makes you responsible for your offer? If the team cannot give a reasonably decent-working roms maybe they should test them more before release to public. We are not experiment rabbits even if we agreed to install beta developer roms.

Just look what is going on here and adjust your policy…

It's a free work, not the official ROM of Xiaomi. Install whoever wants it. You can report, but you must not give orders and be angry.
I'm using a super stable ROM in my Mi6, it's 7.12.7.
I tried 8.1.11 and it really is not good this week. You know what I do? Backup via TWRP, is a binary image of the partitions, which I saved on my PC.
If the update is good I keep and make a new backup, if it is not good I restore the local backup of the device, if it still has or i recover it from my PC. That simple.

Omg! No update because They test Oreo for Mi Mix2 its a bug and reason to complain?
and what about installation or does someone force you? no.

You are not report bugs, You only complain. All this thread is one big complain. But no one dont report bug on en.miui.com.

Maybe it’s not the best strategy to hold weekly releases for leading devices making people really hungry and then give them quite buggy and premature version of newer operating system base. How about an alternative?

  • Enabled search in statusbar
  • Enabled search gesture (swipe up) on the desktop
  • Enabled MiDrive in File Explorer
  • Added landscape mode for SMS app
  • Sunrise/Sunset in the weather app
  • Google apps support integrated
  • Importing theme from zhuti.xiaomi.com via ThemeManager
  • No useless Chinese bloatware apps
  • More free RAM due to less background processes
  • Unified flat style app icons for both system and 3rd party apps (eg. Play Store icon flat too, unlike official global MIUI)
  • Advanced menu with color icons (not just text like in official MIUI releases)
  • No any Chinese character under the full system
  • Mi Video, Mi Music, Mi Radio, Mi Browser: No any useless Chinese content
  • No possibility to re-lock bootloader accidentally with flash any xiaomi.eu release
  • Added real 26 languages translation made by Official MIUI Fansites and MIUI Fans

i'm interesting in installating MIUI 9.3 8.1.11 V2 on my Xiaomi Mi4C

i do not have TWRP but i have Team Win Recovery Project 5962525995334810359.jpg

Do i must have install MIUI with TWRP ? or i can also install it with Team Win Recovery Project ?

I don't like the stock icon pack so i have applied another one but those apps don't show their icon.
This is not a problem of the theme like in my old phone, with the same MIUI version, the bug don't exist.
This theme is called Global UI.
