Telegram notifications are working now on the Mi 8!

of course as mentioned in changelog:

Fix - No notification for some 3rd party apps at Android 9.x (eg. Telegram, Hangouts...)

It just brings back the old MIUI notification style so only different in visual appearance of the notification

does that bring back the notification badges and old notifications style?

Not to degrade the topic but when you post mirror links or other nonsense to the thread we will remove it. Simply for the fact those mirrors are not ours and any issues resulting from the download falls into our problem, not yours. Use official mirrors - end of.
