In my Mi 8 SE today appeared the option to update via OTA. Do I use OTA?

Same problem with Maps on Mix1 after dirty flash from 8.10.25.
Otherwise 8.11.1 seems to be working fine so far.

Maps in Max1 Prime (helium) seems to work normally, will check Note 2 also.

Maps freezes every time when you press the "start" driving button, after choosing destination, etc., which works normally.

If you choose "pedestrian" first, then switch to "car", it works.

Clearing data in Maps and uninstalling - reinstalling Maps did not help.

I never used Maps with 8.10.25, as it happened, so I don't know if it was working there.

Bug: Google Maps freezes when you push the button to "Start" driving.
Same bug on Mix1 and Mi Note 2.

On Note 2 does not help to switch between "pedestrian" and "car" like on Mix1.

Maps seems to work normally on Max1 helium.

Everything else seems to work normally in both phones, also in Maps, it freezes only on "Start".

I'm not interested in doing a "clean" install just to fix this, will wait to next week and see what happens.

I have just updated my Mi 8 SE from latest stable version and everything went perfect. I did quick test for the most essential things like Network, Bluetooth, GPS, Camera ( manual mode too), Safety Net, Google Device Certified, TWRP Boot, fastboot boot.
EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT AND TRANSITION EFFECTS ARE SO SMOOTH.

Anyone experiencing issue with reapearing deleted photos in galery in PocoF1. Rom is 8.11.1

The issue can be reproduced if you take photo or more and delete them from galery. Then go again to camera. There will be thumbnail of deleted photo.
Take another photo and than all photos will reapear again.

If you check dcim folder in file manager you will notice that deleted photos are never actualy deleted.

Edit: This apparently happens only if photos are stored on sd card. If you choose phone storage all is good.

Is this a bug from ROM or from google app? If I ask "hey google" to make a phone call, google keeps stopping. I'm using 8.11.1 on Pocophone.

You have to update TWRP to a Pie compatible versión and then you can do a dirty flash. It will be ten minutes on boot and then it starts.

I did it that way on my Mi 8 SE and I have no bugs till now.

   TWRP is gone. Goes straight to Fastboot, no matter Vol up+Pwr or Vol down+Pwr
2. How do we fix that ?

unfortunatly mi recovery 3.0 is in chinese so i dont understand how to do any of this

Sorry. You can't use mi recovery. You need TWRP. Sorry google to find out more.

Actually 120fps not just reduces brightness but decreases video quality a lot that makes this option (120fps) unusable.

Indeed. Video quality decreases a lot. I'm waiting for the mix 3 camera software as well.

I've tried everything, what am I doing wrong?
