No.. It's a worst notch hide I have ever seen... Let's do it more effectively...

do you have better ideas? if notch is on, statusbar is just too small to display all notifications for normal way.
pixel 3 notch off make the display smaller.. so the top of display can have full statusbar without any restrictions..

Guys, my MI5X is on 8.10.18. I always update via OTA. If I jump at 8.10.25 to this one will have some problem? Has anyone had a problem installing this update in 5x? I'm a layman.

mipad 4 can't view data usage .once u change to month or week will force closed ..

Hi, I have also Mi 5X, I updated to the last version and I didn't have any problem ;)

Hi,
I can confirm this issue. Tested with full data wipe and installed only maps. Once you set your route and click start, maps is freezing. Weird thing is that it sometimes work in a building, but not outside on full gps. A friend of mine, an owner of Mi 5, has this issue too.

I attache the logcat.

Cheers
i always have Google maps issue with all the beta like yours ..i figured out either turn off Bluetooth or change to old version of Google map the issue disappear .I'm using Google map version 9.39.2..any above that version it will freeze when navigation

DREAM: an additional line of status bar is implemented below the notch and get notifications there. We have a long screen anyway.

uppdater app says "your device is up to date or there is server issues"

is that normal?

You miss out another line after that : ".....check xiaomi.eu for new version!"....so it is not normal, but you have been warned to check xiaomi.eu for new version...
Cheers

Mi Max 3
After successfully unlock the bootloader, I flash TWRP. Then I flash v8.10.25 rom through using TWRP. Succesfully flash the Rom. A week later 8.11.1 released. Using Updater I flash the 8.11.1 Rom. my Mi Max 3 boot to system. I turn off the phone and press volume down + power. The fastboot mode appear on the phone screen. Where is the TWRP gone? How to solve this? Do I need to flash TWRP again?

Mi8SE Bluetooth auto turn off then turn on continuity.
I can not use a Bluetooth headset for continuous listening. It is disconnected and connected continuously

It's Android 9.0s digital wellbeing. Try to install the digital wellbeing shortcuts from Playstore to access all of its features...
I didn't know but did you?

I kinda like this build.
Raise Device To Wake Feature needs more calibrating.
Sometimes it takes time to wake the device.
If someone is using this feature and found a workaround please comment down. Thank you xiaomi.eu

If you have mi 8 SE, do a clean install!
or else you will get a bootloop and loose twrp.
WRONG! You can just do a dirty flash or OTA. No bootloop and everything should work fine.
After the reboot, just re-flash TWRP 3.2.3 that's working with Android Pie by using fastboot command and TWRP comes back.

Sorry for this stupid question...I'm newbie. But could anyone tell me if GPay work in this 8.11.1 "Developer" rom with Magisk installed? Do I need to do something in adition or just install this ROM, Magisk and hide GPay in Magisk?
A'm asking about this because, as I understand, I can't roll-back to Stable rom (Android 8) from this rom (Android 9). Correct me if I wrong

This version is working well on Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro. Thanks the developer team for your effort on this version.

Google pay should work without Magisk or any trick as SafetyNet passed by default:

Thanks a lot! What if I want to install ROOT (I think the only way is to install Magisk)? Is GPay still be operable?
Gpay theoretically doesn't work on rooted device but there is hide Magisk option so there is a solution...

No such issue for me. It's the best beta update so far for MI 8.

Battery life is excellent although I froze several MI related apps (Launcher, Phone, Messaging, Video, Cloud, Account, etc.) and use Nova with Prime + Textra + Google Phone + Photos, Sphinx Kernel 1.7, etc.

I am loving it.

PLEASE, tell me what exactly apps do you froze? Please, tell me the all aps. Thank You!

Fastboot >> Volume down + Power button
Recovery >> Volume up + Power button
Maybe this helps ;)
