This thread is about Miui 8.11.15. A decent googling will lead you to a working and recent version of Twrp. This whole disussion about twrp is completely polluting this thread and makes iat extremely hard to keep track of bugs related to this rom release. I wonder why the moderators are not acting.

I used the TWRP suggested by my friend LinkinParkBoy and I was able to update my twrp
Download Twrp 3.2.3: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xggD0fntmpniyIrjPfizE4D6D2AdwJJX/view?usp=drivesdk
Flash .img file through your TWRP, and restart device.
Install - Install Image Button - TWRP-3.2.3_treble.img - Select Recovery - Swipe - Reboot System

installation apk through fastboot.
cd C:\ adb
C:\ adb fastboot devices
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot boot recovery.img
Please help me, after I updated my 5x mi it was on a black screen, I realized that it works normal but I can not see anything on the screen
1) Reboot to fastboot mode (press vol(-) and power) wait for vibration. (the screen is also black, don't worry about this).
2) On computer install previous firmware via fastboot: ( https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410963190603853188 )
3) Your phone will reboot and fixed.

I solved my problem, I used the miflash to flash new rom, then the message appeared the system has beem destroyer, I used mi unlock, I unlocked the bootloader again and it worked

Ok, 4 days since ROM flash on my Redmi 5 Plus (Vince). Android System battery usage was very high the first 2-3 days, now dropped to normal levels BUT....
Overall battery life got really worse, like 5-6 Screen On Time worse
