So why is this included in this rom, is it something importing regarding selecting ringtones or average bloatware?

Doesn't work how? Open it first and leave it open then do your thing and it will work.

It works after flashing it with twrp and i get the popup for root permission.root checker app confirms the root too but after i reboot phone the apps are waiting for permission and nothing happens. for example ex kernel manager app when i open it says root required and nothing happens. what twrp, magisk and fingerprint in props settings are you using? Thanks in advice

I haven't touched them. Follow this: After reboot, open magisk, don't close it, open kernel manager again BOOM it works. Magisk needs to be in the background to work idk why thats been for some time. WORKS PERFECTLY for me following these steps.
Using latest CN twrp and magisk 18.0 fingerpring is the one from eu

Oh ok now i understand what you mean ( bad english sorry) Thank you very much i will try it tomorrow.

I'm very confident with this week's weekly update for Mi 8 (dipper). Haven't seen any single problem yet, everything's smooth as silk.

Flashed the Magisk 18.0 straight away after applying the weekly update and it doesn't have any issue at all, AdAway is also working as intended to block any annoying ads.

I just hope that this week update will not ruin this harmony :)

I'm currently running the latest stable ROM for Mix 2S. Do the weekly builds have support for exFAT?

Just noticed this sneaky app named Sounds by Google because of your post!

I also found out that it just requested automatic updates in Play Store while I connected to office's Wifi. Don't know how to use it either, it just Force Closed when I choose this app from Ringtone Settings.

I still don't understand in what language you're speaking... in any way, Xiaomi disabled "Never" for AMOLED screens because of image burn-in issues.

1. Does this happen only when "System sounds" is selected, or always no matter what's selected?
Try flashing this and let me know if anything changes: https://www.mediafire.com/file/n45rzlthr7un9t3/Test_MIPAD4_8.12.13.flashable.zip/file
2. We have no clue, we never touched this functionality.
3. And they won't work. This is an issue directly from Xiaomi. These shortcuts are intended for Security and Clean Master apps, which never existed on Mi Pad 4.
You should hide these shortcuts in Home settings -> untick "Show suggestions".
Tks for your help.
1. This problem only when SYSTEM SOUND selected. I flashed your file but SYSTEM SOUND not showing at menu. I'm trying to record some Vid game with inside sound.
2 & 3 It's okay

Google Sounds it's a great feature. As the name of the app indicates it is additional selectable local sounds by Google:

. I have mi mix 2s. the last 2 releases i have 292k in antutu and at this one i have 295k... is this normal? I dont have magisc i dont have any mod or anything at all... just unlocked bootloader and every week i am updating... it runs so smooth and fast this month i cant believe it...

On mi6, the interlocutor is very quietly heard when talking. Volume at maximum. Is there any way to fix this?

And this problem is several firmware in a row

After update on my whyred, system is visibly slower. Multitasking is lagging. Return to previous version and everything is ok. So I'm skipping this one, hope it will be better next time.

After testing few day, i love 8.12.7 more than this version. Go back and waiting for 8.12.20:D

on my Mi Pad 4 Plus, labels below the icons are cut/truncated in landscape mode (see below). In portrait mode, they're ok. I have tried different themes, icon sets, as well as different text sizes and "DPI control" settings in XiaomiEU Tools. It wasn't like this in the ROMs before. Also, I find that the raster of placing icons are different than it was before, the icons appear closer to one another and the general arrangement of icons has also changed somewhat.
