Yes, i like to change it back too . If it can be done with build.prop command, then i can do it by myself, you have to tell us the command.

However, I saw that you change the default volume channel when you touch the hardware buttons because users preferred that way.
I don't question this choice, but I totally prefer to change the media channel when hitting the buttons and I think I'm not alone.
So, @Igor Eisberg or anyone who can do that, is it possible that you give the choice for the user by an option in the settings or at least, if it's too much to implement, tell us how you did to change it so I can do it myself?

I have that BT problem too. Phone needs to be restarted to be able to connect BT again

The decision was to keep it the same way it was in MIUI 9, which is controlling ringtone volume by default. Making a toggle for this is not a priority.

Why can't you choose a custom ringtone for SMS? The setting is there.

Likely to work.
Myself I moved from stable 9.5.2 to 8.7.19 then 8.7.26 without wipes.
All is fine.
