After having flashed xiaomi.eu... What happens if some time later I want to upgrade the ROM?
Can I keep my personal data, apps and configurations or does the new ROM installation wipe everything?
Yes, every week, xiaomi.eu releases a new rom, when you install an update it won't wipe nothing, so don't worry, you can update from "Updater" app or in twrp

Mi Note2 was many freezing, ANR homescreen and crashed google app
I'm was flashing firmware use TWRP with all wipe without Internal storage.
Before that I used miui9.

A small correction - xiaomi.eu ROM's are based on China Dev ROM, not Global, with exception of one, that being for the HMNote3 SE release (Kate).
For anyone who could use this info, i am not trying to criticise EU community, On Mi8 i formatted and reflashed latest Global Stable with MiFlash , did setup and reflashed twrp and Globerom latest rom , i now have working GPS again with no hiccups !
I am not sure if the Global Stable helped at all , only that that was the order of events that i used and i am satisfied with the results !:D
Addendum: I have working Magisk 16.7 with Safety Net GREEN .
