Yes, I use german language aswell. But for me changing to english doesn't change anything. Strange..

The fourth Mi8SE EU rom still bootloop. Me, too

@tankeji EU rom is an easily flashing rom. I used to flash (eu rom) on many devices successfully ; mix2s mi8 mi6 max2 max1 redmi note5. however , If the rom is not ok from the start, no matter which twrp you install, you cannot flash the rom successfully.

After a restart the icons were back. After that I put back in German, restarted and they were gone again.

• updated zcx recovery to official 3.2.2 twrp
• wiped everything
• formatted data (type 'yes')
• rebooted to recovery
• copied 8.7.5 to phone
• installed via twrp

So far so good.

The problem with screen not keeping size (rows by columns) is still there. It changes randomly from 5x5 to 6x4 and the other way round when you try to use 5x5.

Tested with Global Beta and it is there too.

After a complete new software install last night on my mix 2, i still have no gps to navigate. My waze app and google maps can´t find gps.
Anyone else having problems?
Everything else works great notwithstanding the bluetooth codec is still default aac.

Try another gps.conf

Missing icons "bluetooth, Alarm, silent, rotate off" on Mi Mix 2s default language "german"

If I switch to "english" language and reboot -> the icons are all there except "rotate off"
Then I switch to "german" language with no reboot -> the icons are still there
After a reboot -> the icons disappear

I used the code *#*#4636#*#* and saw that both sim were at TD-SCDMA mode which is Chinese mode.

I formated data, wipe all, install, reinstall and nothigh. Set to urgent, high priority and nothing. Can U help me? Sorry my bad english

Need to unlock the bootloader, then install twrp recovery and so then you can flash this rom.
