Just flashed on my Mi8. Everything working amazingly. Much smoother than 8.1 and notification bar higher than notch issue is fixed.
If anyone has any question I'll sure try to help.

We have to install Via TRWP only? No OTA from updater? Did you clean Data - Cache and Dalvik if it was from TRWP? I dont have computer and not sure how to install it.

Do I need to extract its content (.img file) or should I install the .zip file directly with fastboot?

Ciao tutti sono possessore di mi mix 2s .monto ora la MIUI EU 8.7.26. Ho provato a fleshare la vostra ultima rom scaricata questa mattina ma alla fine del flash il cellulare continua a lavorare per diversi minuti ma alla fine non si avvia .Ho dovuto riflashare la vecchia rom preferite poter utilizzare il cellulare. Bisogna fare qualche wipe particolare tipo wipe data prima di installare l'ultima rom ?

I flashed it through TWRP and I doubt there will be a possibility of flashing from updater anytime soon as, unfortunately, you will have to clean data. Also System, Cache and Dalvik. If you don't mind a clean install I'd recommend it though. It's way faster than oreo version. Make sure you put the new rom to TWRP directory as anything other will be wiped.

Anyone has compared the stable ROM with the weekly BETA on a Mi5?

Im on stable since it was released and before always on BETA. ROM is good but i think battery is better in BETA.

I can t find in this version in MIUI menu the option "automatic operation" with you can able or disable automatically wifi data ecc....

No you have to enter TWRP then go to wipe>advanced wipe> select Dalvik,Cache,System,Data and slide wipe

If you're not familiar with TWRP I'd advise you to wait for stable version available from update app.

I did a dirty update but the device stuck at the boot animation!

For all having the Mi 8 /dipper/ the best and most issue-avoiding way to flash 8.9.13. is /according to my experience/:
1. Download and flash latest twrp /TWRP-3.2.3-0908/. You can flash from within twrp.
2. Then restart and enter twrp again, and format data.
3. Then transfer to the phone the 8.9.13 rom and flash it with twrp, and then clear dalvik/cache.
4. Restart and enjoy
!Format data will delete everything so make your backup if needed!
ps: I just do not understand why latest and compatible twrp for the different devices is not listed here by the admins in the first post? Of course for those that it is known to work and is already tested by the developers.

Good ROM. Boot loop after installing via "updater". Had to boot to recovery and make a factory reset - as explained on the front page...

Yes, clean install and format data, so back up all your personal files. V8 TWRP required, you can find it in XDA.

So i downloaded the rom and rebooted to trwp , cleared cache dalvik and system and installed, now it loads in android icon with the 3 dots and stucks there for 10mins , then it reboots to trwp , and rebooting to system leads again in stuck loading? Any suggestions plz. I cant wipe everything, i have no computer and no otg usb to reflash.
