If you have magisk manager already. Just do a dirty flash of the rom (don't reboot to system yet) after that flash magisk zip then reboot to system. Do it everytime you update.

I have a Mi5 and I update it to last firmware but I can’t choose different incoming sms sound from general notification sound. Is there any way to separate the incoming sms sound from the general notification sound? there isn’t the option in sounds menu like before.
Sorry if it asked it again.

Have you been living under a rock since the release of MIUI 10?
Settings -> Installed apps -> (app name) -> Notifications [-> (channel name)] -> Custom sound

You'll have to factory reset.

Why u guys remove the temperature option in battery?

We haven't removed anything. That's Xiaomi's changes.
You can still see battery temperature, but it's in a non-intuitive location: let the battery scan complete, unselect all items. An "Optimize manually" button will appear, click it. Battery temperature is in there.

no, there are other smartphone owners, not only me 8 but there are also redmi note 5, I mix 2s, I note 3, redmi 4 pro ...

And, very important, the Mi8-users are facing Android 9 and its initial problems. So I can understand why there is so much talking about that device. Just wait untill other devices start getting Android 9.... Then those will be mentioned a lot.

Just hope my Redmi Note 4x will get a new Android, being it Android 8 or 9...… That is of no concern (yet)

Have you guys checked the whyred's rom folder? You left the firmware folder intact, it seems. I'm worried i will get an anti rollback update.

Can the developers please finaly add the Feature to not instantly unlock the Phone on Lockscreen with my Face.

I want to see my Notifications first and if i want to unlock let me swipe first and then it can use my Face to Unlock.

I could not find any Anwser now for 1 Month.

My phone is Mi5s plus and I am on the Miui 10 from last week 8.9.13
I tried to upgrade my phone to latest firmware especially because it is on newer versions of Android 8, but it has failed. I tried several times to download because I thought that file was broken. Then I tried with updater app from miui it also failed. I also tried to flash latest twrp but it also failed.
I am attaching screenshots from twrp. Thank you for hard work, hope that this will be some help.
