9.0.5.0 Stable Offers To Update Despite Being The Latest Version

Basically I go to Settings - > My Device -> MIUI version and press "Check". It instantly offers a 1.2GB Download of the very same 9.0.5.0 I have installed on my Mi 6.

Is OTA broken? Is it even supposed to work?

Currently instaled : MIUI 9 | V9.0.5.0.NCACNEI | (stable)

Thanks.

Can confirm: started crashing for me too.

"Updater keeps stopping". Pressed "Report" for whatever good it's going to do.

I had that issue too, crashed when pushing the check for updates button.
=> Go for settings, intalled apps and search for updater. I cleared cache and data and now the updater is working again properly

Does indeed work: "You already up to date!". I'm not an English major, obviously, but shouldn't that be "You're already up to date"? Not a jab at devs, by all means, it just stands out.

Thanks.

On another note, is there a schedule for stable OTA's? Like are we talking 2 months or 1 year.

Because I have that mostly unreasonable (since the phone is working okay, except for that goofy *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* HDR+ app) urge to switch to Oreo. Are we to expect that?
