Sorry if i posted it here but I cant seem to install TWRP on 8.12.13 on a Redmi 6A codename cactus. I have successfully unlocked my device after waiting 15 days and when i tried installing twrp via fastboot on cmd it was successfully being written. But when i boot it, it doesnt boot from twrp but always boot normally. Has anything changed on Redmi 6A? I tried the last 3 versions of TWRP for my device but they always end up the same, which is booting normally after issuing this commands from console.

Is there anything i have done wrong? My phone status is already unlocked from Developer Options.

Please help. This is the first time that I have encountered this thing, I have been using xioami.eu on my other devices, i.e, (Redmi 2, Redmi 4X, Redmi Note 4X, and Redmi Note 5 whyred) but this is the first time that I havent had any success booting TWRP from my device.

I would really appreciate any help I could from you guys!

When you send the command to boot.it boots in twrp?
If yes flash twrp.img one more time
through twrp this time.
Flash it as recovery,then press to restart in recovery again and it won't disappear anymore.hope this will help you.

when I play music and put my headphones, usually I turn on the equalizer, but when I press next somehow the equalizer turn off until I go back to settings and turn it off and back on to hear it working,

and the FP is not working, it sensing my finger but can't add a finger print.
other than this, I must say this is a far better than the official MIUI rom.
smooth, it has the best battery backup and so many features.
but I'll go back to official until those bugs are solved.

Mhm interesting.
I guess how these settings actually work depends on both the used miui version and the device baseband.

Mi 8 @ global beta set to td-scdma only : no connection
Redmi note 4x @ xiaomi.eu stable 9.5.2.0 set to td-scdma only: switches to 3g, stays on 3g *edit* no effect, it'll stay on whichever network mode it was set to before. Even a
Redmi note 4x @ xiaomi.eu weekly 9.1.3 set to td-scdma only: no effect, stays on same mode as before. same behaviour as stable 9.5.2.0

Messaging app bug. Sometimes contact names/photo doesn't load.

It occurs when scrolling or entered a message then going back. It'll just show the number and blank contact picture.

For anyone else wondering : no

Same as ever on MIDO miui 10.. *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* just black screens after launch. Best case scenario you'll get a singles frame in the viewfinder after fiddling with the settings.

Back to xiaomi.eu stable 9.5.2.0 I go

As I have mentioned on my post, when i flashed it as recovery using fastboot it is successfully flash, but when i boot from it, it reboots normally and not twrp recovery.

how to fix slow charge in note 5 i have qualcom charger the logo apear but so slow to charge it gives 1000-1500 mah in ampere app even i use magisk fast charge for whyred please help this rom is very recommendable im in 9.1.3

Ok then follow my instructions as I previously wrote and tell me if this worked.
 
chromebrowser sync dont works too (not just calendar) - mi8
nobody test the rom before release?...
you fix one issue and create at the same time 5 new one...

Unfortunately, it doesnt boot to twrp. I dont know whats wrong. I have carefully followed the instruction but upon sending the command

fastboot boot twrp.img

it boots normally and if i go to recovery i am presented with the stock recovery. :(

Try flashing official rom (tgz)with MIFLash and then reflash your twrp. Take care to not relock the bootloader!

i had same, i did it 3times still it works.
 
hello to all.

I know if it's bug have already been reported on the latest version on mi mix2s. the weather app crash at startup, forced to clear the cache and data so that it restarts. and the calendar application that bug at the accounts level. also forced to clear the cache and reset the accounts to display the events.

Both issue will be fixed at next release.

Anyone have any solution for lagging recent menu on ROMs since 8.11.22? 8.11.15 is the last one that isn't laggy as hell
