As far as I know, this issue is present on official Global ROM too, so it's up to Xiaomi. We don't have any info regarding this anomaly.

I've seen that post but my phone is not rooted tho.

Maybe @Igor Eisberg /devs could have a look regarding this issue for the next release, if possible of course.

Dark mode has only begun development, it's far from finished. If you don't like it, don't use it. Mind you, this is a Weekly (aka Developer) ROM.
