I can finally say that the problem about the proximity sensor has been solved with this release. I need more tests to clearly see if the problem pops out again, but for now the situation is far way better than before. Thanks Xiaomi, thanks to the dev!

Maybe they are not very good with search and still want some guide.
I think it's funny people coming to a forum where it's suppose to share info knowledge etc and write something like you did.
It's sad prefer type a crappy answer than being just stand still.

If you search for the specific thing in our search box (top right of the site) you would find thread details which have already been left in this forum. What irks me in peoples lack of own research and searching when the details are written there and / Google also. Searching goes a LONG way to finding what you've asked. If your friend is so lazy to need you to be a proxy then maybe get him to search himself / herself?

As for "crappy answer" I hope for your sake that was not aimed at me?

P. S. As you can see, in one case YouTube has transparent corners, in other "my device" has transparent corners, so seems like a bug)

IMPORTANT INFOevs, I remind you, that Picture-in-Picture mode works incorrectly on 9.6.20 on both my devices (mi 8,6), on 9.6.13 it's OK (in this thread here's at least a person with mi 9 have the same problem)

It's working fine. Settings app supports dark mode only on Android 9 right now.

Based on multiple forum discussions and on my experience, switching on encryption from the Settings menu in xiaomi.eu softbricks phones. As I see multiple(maybe all) phone types are affected. Might it be a good idea to disable this option in the Settings menu, or put a warning in post #1?

Have the WiFi and Hotspot buttons in the pull-down notifications area selected, with mobile data button turned off.

You need to define a hotspot beforehand.

I had a working 9.6.13 on my MI9 and flashed this version. Now wifi, camera, audio and video playack isnt working anymore, might be more.

Have had 5 other Xiaomi devices and flashing ROMs has always worked smooth but so far MI9 has been nothing but trouble...

When using ambient display (aka AOD or always on display) I don't see any icons for incoming gmail, WhatsApp or text messages. How do I get them to show as icons on the ambient display?
