Dirty flash on MI9 with no problems.
What this option do in developer mode ?
Even if i change accent color or icon shape there is no diference.

Flashed 8.15 build but there is no Settings app at all.
The app that has a cog icon (usual for settings app) has the name Tap to setup Face unlock and when clicked gives FC
Redmi K20 pro

everything is good so far, and works...

Currently on 9.8.8 with k20 pro, not able to update either by adb commands or USB otg. When device is in fastboot mode, adb is not able to find device. In recovery mode, otg folder doesn't show any file.

For now I found this bugs
After reboot, always get the notification "activating Sim card" and "no service" in status bar (but have network service and I can do phone calls and have data)

Hi guys. On my Mi9 everything is working fine except Google backup. In the settings- Google service - backup the backup now button is gray so it's not available and everything except contacts is in waiting for backup mode.
Removing fp, password and pin from lock screen do the backup now blue- available but it just trying and at the and says try later.
ADB command from XDA don't help says - transport error.
Second account don't help.
Any reason why it's happening? How to fix it?
I have and Mi8 with same rom ( P ) and Google backup working fine.

There's is Magisk package floating about that fixes google pay.. Gpay lite sql fix.. requires sql lite for arm devices to be installed..

As for Google assistant..

The Xiaomi Global rom is poor in comparison to this rom.. I need Google assistant, I drive a lot in my job may have to sell this phone..

So disappointed. I upgraded from mi6 to this mi 9 phone

No good for me without Google assistant working properly..

Android auto does not connect reliably to the car with this too

Can you see your files in data partition?

It works.

Try switching HCE to SIM and then back to the to HCE. This does the magic for me.

Did you have to patch or install anything other than this rom?

Hello! Just updated from 9.8.1> 9.8.15 on my MI9 with twrp 3.3.1-35 and magisk installed.
After the update, the phone is constantly loaded into the recovery, and does not load the system.
Files on folders is like 'hashed' with names like 'F8a65fa7faf9' and others
How can I get the working system back?

I think that it is possible to create via "format data", but there is quite valuable data, I did not think that I could lose them during the update. Is it possible to somehow return twpr, which can decrypt my partitions?

whenever i try to reboot my phone, it stucks at bootloop. i discovered this only happens while my phone language is in turkish. i changed it to english after re-installing latest rom, and everything is cool now. device mi 9

Greyscale toggle is part of Google's Digital Wellbeing app, which isn't included with the ROMs by default anymore. You'll have to flash it as a system app if you wish to use its Greyscale feature.

Hi! A bit off topic but nevertheless is it possible to create some script for twrp to wipe system and cashes, flash the ROM and my custom ZIPs and then reboot back to the new system? Let's say I would rename new rom file every time, everything else won't change. Doing this things manually every time doesn't feel right for me
