I KNOW is forbidden to ask about etas(well ive never asked before) ,byt due to the condition of new android Q,my question is.if xiaomi release before next thursday an updated version with bug fixes(ie urgent update) we may have it from EU Team before Friday?

Probably not. They base the ROM on the China beta ROM, so in a way, you need to treat it as a beta and that bugs can happen, especially with a new Android version. This is why they are not sending it out as an OTA, because it's not for everyone.

Waiting for the official twrp image for Mi9t because I've tried to install eu rom like I did usually after unlock, with the unofficial "davinci", it was a complete failure, got "softbricked" my device. I can't understand the procedure everybody is using right now, so I prefere waiting until official twrp comes out !

Edit : too bad because I really miss eu rom since I'm using it from my Mi Max 2, then 3...

To my understanding one of the major differences in Q is to eliminate the navigation keys and replace them fully system-wide.

For those who installed it on their mi9 - how is this lack of navigation keys working out for you?

Hi, yes sadly you have widevine L3 on every xiaomi phone in this rom, except the poco F1 that has widevine L1, because xiaomi.eu is based on the miui china rom that has only widevine L3. So if you want to have widevine L1 you must keep the oficial xiaomi rom. Maybe one day we will be able to have widevine L1 on this beautiful rom.

Sound is completely missing all over the system after this update on my Mi 9 SE (Grus). I have tried several things but was not able to get it working again.

Second thing I noticed, if I go to battery statistics, security is force closing.
Those two things didn’t happened before this update.

And on the other hand it's no serious issue to use the mobile in English. I like it.

Another question: Is the "old" calendar app back in this rom or did they change again the design.
In 9.7.25 there was a new app included and also in 9.8.1 It seems to me that MIUI went back to the old one. Or only EU-Rom?

Posting again from previous version, DND mode doesn't work (notifications sound is still on, vibration isn't though), video wallpapers stop animating after reboot.

Now i can´t move rom file from PC to phone even from ADB commands, always get an error.

I can move files do /DATA for example but not to /sdcard


Can some one help, i'm without phone atm.

A wipe of the partitions should never destroy them so you should still be able to access all partitions with adb or the pc.
BTW: Never wipe system!

Is encryption active? What device?
Then try to format /data.

In case of a remaining problem I would flash a miui rom (tgz) fitting to your device via miflash to "reset" all partitions. Be sure not to "relock".

Then you should be able to start a new adventure...
