Aosp 4.4 KitKat ROM AOSP by ivan

What? You're telling me Cofface's CM11 rom has the same battery life as this rom but faster? Are you sure? ;) For how long have you been using that rom?
I might wanna check that out!

Edit:
I checked the CM11 Cofface thread and I read this from you :p

Sooo....?

Im testing it with art, and rom its fast. The post its referred to normal rom. Overall cofface cm11 goes like ivan aosp, with greenefy and dalivik gave me almost same battery life (sorry, no screenshots taken this time). Btw that post was after i flashed sabermod to my lg gpad, that is to damn fast! I m testing it from 1 day with art, and battery its strange. I need more testing :p

Have you also tried Code Aurora? what do you think? many said that it has similar battery since it uses Ivan's kernel. but slightly better performance since using Qualcomm driver.

Hey,

No, haven't tried that one.. But I am content with AOSP so I won't switch unless I'm 90% sure a rom has extra value over AOSP :)

I seem to have a problem with my phone. I've flashed this rom before and it works awsome.. However I needed to make a clean wipe so I did everything over again. Now however, it doesn't recognize the internal memory SDcard?

Camera doesn't work either, do you guys know what has happened? Clueless over here.

I've tried, several times.. Even reflashed the custom recovery and all.. Doesn't seem to work.. Says that the SDcard is gone.. so I don't know why it doesn't link to it..

What about other custom rom (not this rom)? Can you flash?if yes, then nothing wrong with your phone, but with the downloaded rom.

do you have a clue why his phone partition is messed up? i need to be aware of that since i do many wipes and installs recently.
It's just a guess, and when following the instructions in that thread you can find out if it is the case. You don't have to repartition if nothing is wrong but it has instructions on how to print your partition table :)

If flashing another rom does not solve the problem(I suggest you just try Miui)..Your partitions might have been messed up.
Then you should check this thread:
http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/mi2s-extending-size-of-storage-partition.21391/
How can I fix the partitions then? Nothing with the internal memory works. I have the latest CWM on the device. Even flashed other ROMs. Nothing works. Camera won't function, can't download anything. Huge headache here and pretty darn close to throw this device down my 6-story building.

- boot to cwm
- type "adb reboot dload" on your computer
- use miflash to flash a ROM on your phone

Any info on battery life and such?
I used it for a few days. Battery life is good, comparable to most other 4.4.3 roms I tried. But I'm no heavy user ;)
I had two spontaneous reboots (had to enter pin-code again). Cause not found.
So pretty good rom, but not special.

Same here, OK battery life but still annoying static ticks while listening to radio via Bluetooth or having a call via Bluetooth. Still looking for a flexible ROM, allowing me to use xposed framework on 4.4.x with good Bluetooth audio quality

How do you install? Every recovery i used, boot stuck at bootanimation. Can you say me what recovery use? TDB enable or not? What partition: 1 or 2?
I don't use TDB. When I install a ROM I first make a backup and then I always do a full wipe (data, cache, dalvik, system).
I use Ivan's recovery, but it should work with M!cha's CWM as well.

Ok, so this confirm (is write in chinese forum, but google translate help me a little :) ) that this rom works only with ivan recovery. Can you link what recovery'version do you use? And in what System do you install rom: system 1 or 2?
