I just got my new xiaomi mi13 pro chinese version. Waited the hour to unlock and flash the global rom. I tried with clean flash and lock bootloader, and the phone will not start. Then I unlocked it again and did a clean flash only and it was able to turn on. HOwever, google pay doesnt work because it says custom rom/root phone, insecure. ANyway to fix this. Thanks.

Thanks. Do i just do a clean flash or clean and lock with the eu version? And i am in na, will everything else work? I don't know the difference between global and eu

You are probably confused.
xiaomi.eu is a custom ROM. This is not an official Global EEA ROM.
If you have a Chinese device you cannot lock the bootloader to a non-Chinese ROM.
If you want to install xiaomi.eu ROM you have to do a clean install.

I flashed the eu rom like so, and I have been noticing an issue with wireless android auto. it will disconnect every 10 or so minutes, and then reconnects. is this a known bug and is there a fix for it? please advise. thank you.
