New Contacts Telephone Crashing Mi 5x

Contacts app crashing every time

Whenever I try to start the Contacts app from homescreen or access telephone from other accs, it says "Contacts and dialer has stopped." and it force closed.

MIUI 9.6 8.4.4
Weekly ROM

For a workaround, disable Mi Cloud contacts sync if enabled, it causes this crash for now at least.

I disabled the Mi Cloud contacts sync and it worked.

Didn't you read the previous reply? Just disable the contacts sync in MiCloud and it works again

but after that, i cant enable my fingerprint lock, 8.4.4 version has too many errors. I rolled back to 8.3.29 and it has no errors

hi even to me you break the keyboard and address book, if then disable the synchronization contacts are not uploaded to my account.
