New DHD first boot problem

HI all.
Installed the latest miuiandroid_ace_ics-2.11.23.zip on my Desire HD.
On first boot I get "unfortunately system ui has stopped". I click OK and get into the phone but there is no notification bar and pretty much nothing else will work.
Wifi will not turn on. It says turning on and sticks there. Obviously report to miui won't work if the wifi won't turn on.
MD5 is correct and I did a full wipe from 4ext recovery etc etc. I've tried it twice now with the same result.
So in a word useless.
Any ideas ?

Yeah, your result is the same as another member here, a friend of mine, as well as me. by my reading of the forum, it only appears to be happening to our devices. This sucks. My device is HTC Isnpire 4G currently running 2.11.16.
Hopefully iBots will read this and be able to provide insight. Other wise, waiting till next week's release.

Agreed, It just crashes and can't access logcat to post.
