Hello, i've made two versions of english CWM (version 5.5.0.4 no touch) and Carliv Touch Recovery (based on CWM touch version 6) for Xiaomi Hongmi TD and WCDMA. The recoveries are ok for wipe and flashing, but seems the nandroid backup do not work. Use the Backup function inside Miui Rom to restore apps and system data. If something goes wrong during the flash of a rom, restare the phone with Sp Flash Tool factory rom, and after, restore the Backup with Backup function inside Miui.
Discailmer: I'm non responsable for any brick or damage of your phone, do this at your risk!!

Download the recovery attached and copy to the internal memory. Download Mobile Uncle tools from play store and select update or install recovery, select the new recovery and press ok to flash and reboot in recovery. Et voilà, have fun :)

Ah ok :-D
The problem with the chinese Recovery is that we do not have a Translation, for example if I Like to Format system I do not have an idea how to do that and from the time that this Recovery it is doing all these correctly I do not care if it is "for dummies".
By the way why the other threat is locked????

The main reason why the other thread is closed is because there is a english recovery now.
That it's a hacked version is not my personal taste but it's functional so I am not going to reinvent the wheel.
All kudo's to ishy

Great news, i've made the Carliv Touch Recovery, is a CWM touch based version 6.0.4.0. Testing now.

I installed Flash Tool and me by the Chinese Recovery appears.
By Uncle Mobile App does not recognize me. Img

Sorry for my English translator.

One guy installed : CWM V5 NO TOUCH (WCDMA VERSION ONLY) yesterday, and he said that: this CWM on chineese

My model is a XIAOMI Red Rice HM2013022 / firmware miui-hbj2-0

It's rooted. I installed MobileUncle with root permissions, and also tried both recoverys for TD, but they haven't been recognized as valid recovery updates.

What I'm doing wrong? Thanks

I am using TD-SCDMA version of Hongmi. I have used that file provided by you and it worked after one change. I changed the name of file, after extraction, from "CWM english Hongmi TD by...." to simple "recovery.img" and copy it in root directory of phone storage. The mobileuncle Tools detected it and i run recovery update. The phone rebooted with english CWM. The phone had multilang 3.11.29 version. I again reinstalled it and it worked fine and system booted successfully. Now i can enter in recovery by long pressing the volume down and power button simultaneouly and then enter recovery mode with autoCWM V5.5.0.4. I did only one test "Key test" that was succesful. It seems that rest of the functions will also work. Thanks a lot for the effort, cheer up.

If you want the latest recovery v6 with touch, simply download the touch version and install it with the same process...thank you too :)
