When the non rooted is out, can i just flash the system image.
My bootloader is locked.

It is non rooted but anything in the base Rom have the root provilegs

yes there is. if you have unlocked your bootloader, you can install superSU and root.

You can try it to update only system.Img

It works for V6.1.11 and 6.1.14 xiaomi.eu with lock bootloader..
Just flash the System from LoXaR rom and you all have Root.
No data is lose

No you dont.
Just install the rom LoXar and untick only preloader.
